I made more money than my dad by 21.

Even though he went to college at 13, Harvard at 16 and got his PhD from MIT.

I skipped college.

My dad is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.

One of the smartest (and best) people I know.

He chose the path to trade time for $$ his whole life.

Which is fine, I’m not knocking it.

But I DID learn from it.

From a young age I knew I was destined for something different.

That’s why I started producing music at 14.

Made songs for G-Herbo and Paul Wall, among others as a teen.

Then I built Shut Down Music to $2M+ in sales, 7 in-house employees, 70+ artists and 5-time award-winners in my early 20s.

Now I make $50K+/month helping people sign clients on LinkedIn via my paid community LinkedIn Client Lab and LinkedIn League coaching program.

While working 10-20 hours a week max.

My dad’s worked HARD his whole life.

(40+ hrs/week)

He focused on becoming the best economics professor he could.

I totally respect that.

I focused on leverage & systems.

You do NOT need a degree to achieve freedom and happiness.

I'm really grateful for my dad's path.

It taught me a million beautiful things and to build mine differently.

What’s the worst DM outreach message you ever got?

This is top 10 for me lol.

From a LEAD GEN guy nonetheless.

Like DUDE… 😂 😂

Making $50K+/month doesn’t make me happy.

Being in great shape doesn’t.

Living in Miami in world-class apartments doesn’t.

Don’t get me wrong.

I’m SO grateful for it all.

But what brings me true happiness is serving others.

Like when my client Aidan went from $0 to $26K+/month.

My heart was BEAMING for hours.

Or Marcos went from $50K to $100K+/month.

I was on cloud 9 rest of the day.

Or Terrence went from never signing a client from LinkedIn to making $150K+ from it.

Made my day.

THIS is why I do what I do.

Money is just a number on a screen after a certain point.

CHANGED LIVES is what your soul truly yearns for.

Learned this the last few years (I’m 28).

Glad I learned it earlier rather than later.

I used to want to have $50M in the bank.

Then I hit $50K/month and realized something.

Money is just a number.

All it actually does is buy your freedom.

What matters is how you FEEL when you WAKE UP.

I have friends who are depressed millionaires.

I have other friends paycheck-to-paycheck who are truly happy and at peace.

One is a rich slave.

The other doesn’t have $$ but they have peace.

So I found a middle ground.

I make $50K/month but only work 10-20 hrs a week.

I have time for meditation, journaling, lifting, deep convos & building something I ACTUALLY care about more than just numbers on a screen.

Freedom >>>> what your bank account says.

Make $$, sure.

But just don’t sacrifice your soul to do it.

Make $$ to AMPLIFY your soul.

If you want to make $50K+/mo online you need to be cool with getting hate.

Some will love you.

Others try to bring you down.

“What’s the budget?”

Always gets rid of time-wasters.

Used this a decade ago as a teen music producer with cheap rappers who didn’t wanna pay for beats.

Still use it now.

I can smell cheap people like a dog sniffing a fresh steak after 14 years in the DMs and $4M+ in sales.

Pay up or shut up.

Here’s how I made $160,117.92 in the last 90 days with ZERO employees:

1 - Built multiple income streams.

I have 3 things paying me $10K+/month.

Music royalties (completely passive).

My $297/month community.

And my coaching program ($10K per client).

Nice waking up each month knowing I’m making at LEAST $25K+ without lifting a finger.

2 - Sacrificed short-term.

I’ve been an entrepreneur since 14.

I’ll be 29 this Sept.

^^Damn I’m getting old.

In my early 20s I knew the music moves I made would pay me forever.

I could’ve taken quick cash and RAN.

Instead I signed deals with major labels like Universal Music, Red Bull, Warner Bros & Sony which’ll STILL pay me $10K+/month deep into my 30s and 40s.

3 - Kept it lean.

I only focus on what’s making $$.

I don’t try to do it all at once.

No small team.

I don’t own a penthouse office.

My only overhead is payment processing & software (approx $1K/mo).

That’s why I can work 10-20 hrs/week with 0 employees and do as well as I do.

4 - Only have low-friction/high-margin offers.

I don’t sell $50 PDFs.

I sell high-ticket.

My community is $297/mo.

My coaching program is $10K.

I can charge that much because I make people 10X-100X+ ROI and my results speak for themselves.

5 - Used LinkedIn as my #1 client source

My coaching program + community are FILLED with people who found me on here.

Brand + DMs are a CHEAT CODE.

I was known as the young and successful guy at music conferences at 18-20 years old.

“Dude how are you doing this so young?!”

30-year industry vets asked me genuinely curious with and a tinge of jealousy.

Here’s the Universal Music team and I in the Hollywood Hills circa 2017-18.

Right before we signed a $132K/year + royalties joint venture label deal together.

1 of my handful of major clients at the time.

I ended up leaving the music biz in November ‘20.

Looking back it was a great decision.

What I do now is so much more aligned.

Do not answer.

CLIENT:

Hasn’t paid invoice due a week ago.

YOU:

Cut off service + the relationship is over if it happens again.

CLIENT:

Follows up 3x in 24 hours for non-emergency purposes.

YOU msg them:

“Hey got your msg. Please don’t follow up with me multiple times for like this unless it’s a genuine emergency. I’ll get back to you when I get a chance, thanks”

Put your foot down when boundaries are crossed.

Unless you like being disrespected.

Telling you from experience signing 100s of clients & doing $4M+ in sales.

I enforce my boundaries at the highest level now.

Life is 10x less stressful and I make WAY more $$.

They master the 3 categories of INTANGIBLES:

ENERGETIC INTANGIBLES

1 - Charisma and swag

2 - Reading and mirroring a prospect’s energy

3 - Non-reactivity

4 - DMing from positive emotional states

MINDSET INTANGIBLES

1 - Detachment from sale and money

2 - Reframing rejection as a “misalignment” and taking the trigger out of it

3 - Being conscious and aware of their emotions

4 - Not pedestalizing prospects… mastering non-supplicating language

1 - Playing devil’s advocate, qualifying well, towing the line between arrogant and confident to perfection
