Claude Skills is 🤯 ! My work won't be be the same anymore.

Claude Skills is so powerful that it’s hard to grasp its full potential. Every time I think I’ve found a use case, another one immediately appears. It’s a real can of worms.

I've been using skills to manage my entire workflow. What you see in the image is just the start. I'm vetting more to add.

Before AI, becoming an expert took years. University. Work experience. Maybe a masters degree. Then they'd finally call you skilled.

Nobody will download apps from App Store anymore. Just give it some years.

Three people in my feed shipped their first app this week. None of them are developers. All used AI.

This pace accelerates from here. 

You might think more apps means more App Store revenue. Yes or no. More apps means building apps got easy. And when building gets easy, distribution gets disrupted.

👉 The App Store monopoly ends the moment you can build your own Duolingo.

Why download a language app built for 50 million users when you can generate one tuned to your learning style, your vocabulary gaps, your preferred characters?

Platforms like Wabi are already popping up (they raise $20M in seed!). Micro-apps. Personal by default. You define the need, it builds the solution.

ChatGPT just released its own app store. So will a dozen competitors eyeing Apple's $1.3 trillion pie.

What happened to Google Search is happening to the App Store. Faster.
The gatekeepers built empires on one assumption: building is hard. Not anymore.

Most people don't realise that this is the best time to become an AI Product Manager.

PMs juggle multiple initiatives, PRDs, roadmaps, stakeholder expectations. The job drowns you in documents.

At Bonanza we don't have a product manager. I do most of it myself.

A client sent me a 2,100-line PRD last week. Did I read it head to toe? I'd be insane. Waste of time and neurons.

The way to understand a massive document is top-down. Start high level, drill into the granular stuff only when needed.

I use AI to make sense of documents written by AI.

My process:
1. Ask AI for an executive summary.
2. Ask AI to explain any term or process I don't understand.
3. Generate assets from the PRD. User flows. Database tables with example data.
4. I'm visual. I interact with diagrams and tables far better than 2,300 lines of text.
5. Go through each user flow like surgery. If AI can't convince me or the client why an interaction exists, we update the PRD.
6. Audit the database tables. AI tends to create tables as it goes. I need to know why each one exists and how they feed each other.
7. 2,100 lines become 15 diagrams and a handful of tables. Now I can think.

This is just the surface of what PMs can do with AI.

The ones who figure this out will manage twice the initiatives in half the time.

Two years of AI experiments. 40+ projects. Most failed. I finally have enough scars to give a talk. 

UXDX invited me to speak this February and I'm excited.

👉 Sometimes you need these pauses. A moment to reflect on what worked and what didn't.

Automations that broke after a week. Projects abandoned halfway. Tools we built, used once, never touched again. Money burned. Time wasted. Rabbit holes that led nowhere.

But also: workflows that stuck. Systems that compounded. Approaches that let a small team consistently outship larger ones.

When I see folks excited about Lovable or Replit or Bolt, I get excited too. Not because they've arrived. Because they've started. If they keep going, they'll land where everyone lands.

I know founders who open Claude Code at 9am and sign out of their entire workday from that same window. Solo. No team. Just the terminal.

3. Model freedom. ChatGPT locks you into OpenAI. Claude Code pairs with anything. I switch between Opus 4.5, GPT 5.2, and Gemini 3 depending on the task.

4. Wild Innovation 🤯 File system access. RAG. Sub-agents. MCPs. Hooks. Custom commands. Full automation through techniques like RALPH. This IS an operating system for work.

The jump feels like going from manual car to full self-driving.
