Nuts! 🤯 — I approved a plan at 2am. Woke up to a MVP.

Claude agent teams got the job done. 19 agents. 2 hours, fully tested (as they claim, but you know you can't take AI at its word when it comes to testing. You need to test it yourself.) 

The CTO agent pushed back on the frontend and backend agents. QA flagged issues. The final reviewer only signed off after fixes were applied. They were arguing and iterating with each other at 3am without me in the room.

If this is not nuts I don't know what to say anymore. So cool. 

You have your own product team working independently. As a product leader, your job becomes developing the product concept and the orchestration layer (how agents should work together) and letting them wrestle it out between themselves.

Yes, the cost of getting to your first prototype is becoming insignificant. But it doesn't mean I can use the output as is!

I have to go through several iterations with them. I may have to shelve the entire build and let them run a new one. But thanks to this workflow, if I have time today to test the current build and scope the new one, I have the next version tomorrow.

🪦 RIP hamburger menu. Terminal is the new UX.

Big webistes are not navigable. You land on a page, stare at a mega menu with 40 links - dropdowns inside dropdowns. A hamburger menu on mobile that scrolls forever.

This needs to change. Starting with our own website.

AI Zone is a new section on the Bonanza website dedicated to everything we build with AI. Tools and workflows, experiments and knowledge. 

Instead of a traditional nav, we borrowed the interaction model from Claude Code's CLI. You type commands and the interface responds. The command approach is more intentional.

This pattern will show up on more sites this year (calling it rn). Developer tools trained people to type what they want instead of hunting for it. Voice interfaces and AI chat reinforced the habit. CLI-style website is where that muscle memory goes next.

The AI Zone itself is a growing library of every AI workflow, custom agent, and tool I build at Bonanza. If you run a product team or build software, there's something in there you can steal for your own setup.

OpenClaw is 🤯 - But I'm sitting this one out. Here's why

My feed is full of OpenClaw demos. Everyone building workflows. Racing to automate every corner of their day.

The workflow-obsessed folks has one goal: reduce human involvement to zero. It's a valid goal. It's just not mine.

The product designer in me wants to touch a dozen use cases. Build tools, explore weird corners. None of them need a full-blown open claw mode right now. I'm not jumping on the trend wagon to build a half-baked workflow without knowing what I'd actually do with it.

Every product category and archetype is up for redefinition. A revamp in how we use human ingenuity and creativity alongside AI. That's what interests me.

Before AI, you needed business cases and months of planning to justify building anything. That barrier is gone now.

You can take on any impossible idea. Your childhood game you made up can turn into an app. Every SaaS category is up for grabs if you want boring B2B stuff. In the consumer space it's even more exciting.

You owe it to yourself to build something you actually care about first. This is a marathon. You need to stay motivated.

The best use cases don't get built overnight. Start with one pressing use case and go deep. You don't want AI to free-float without strict guardrails.

I'll track from this post how long it takes me to set up my first OpenClaw workflow. You never know, might be a week from now ;)

This closer agent is 🤯 — it feeds me objection responses in real time while I'm talking.

I used to walk into discovery calls with a notebook full of talking points. Half the time the prospect threw a curveball and I froze. That pause cost me deals.

So I built a local app that sits on my screen during any call. It listens live, detects objections as they happen, and whispers the right response before I lose momentum. 

It also tracks a checklist. "Are all decision makers on the call?" "Ask about workflow pain points." Items check off as the conversation covers them. No more realizing after the call that I forgot to ask about budget.

The whole call gets transcribed as I go. Every word timestamped. No more scribbling notes while trying to sound present.

I looked at every sales SaaS out there. They all want to connect to the cloud, sync with your CRM, build dashboards, send you weekly reports. Fifty features when I needed three. I wanted something fast, local, and focused. Something that helps me talk to the person on the other end better. 

So I built exactly that. One screen. Objection handling. Checklist. Live transcript (also stores in a folder). It runs on my laptop.

I had this idea three years ago. Thank God I didn't build it. 

Now it turns into a cute feature on the Claude feature list.

This was an impossible task back then. The number of integrations to get the AI working, building the interface. I had lots of back and forth with my tech partner. Rounds of design iterations to get it right. In the end I didn't do it.

Committing to a B2B SaaS app these days is extremely risky.

Lots of AI influencers say go for a niche. Fine. But at this pace, Claude will go after every niche possible. Why wouldn't they? Their engineering cadence is nowhere close to any startup tackling a niche. What you'd build in a year, they might pull off in a month.

Companies without an orchestration layer and massive compute will go out of business. It's a ticking time bomb and no one can dodge the inevitability of it.

Counterintuitively, if I were to found a startup today, dare I say in B2B SaaS, I'd have to figure out three things fast. 1. Distribution 2. Compute 3. Talent that's all in on AI. Not people who wrestle with AI outputs. People who want to orchestrate.

Without these three, take the funding you have and open a doner shop. You might be more successful.
