Strategy & Transformation Manager

In this role I led a team with 4 streams and 20 people responsible for Communications, Learning & Development, and Knowledge Management functions within the retail business. The team was formed in September 2020 and has played an integral role in building (from scratch) sales and service capability for AGL in the Telecommunications industry while also supporting the growth and transformation program for AGL in energy.

In this role I led a team with 3 streams and 12 people responsible for the Change Management, Communications, and Knowledge Management functions within the retail business. The team were highly engaged and pivotal in enabling AGL's growth and transformation strategy.

- Change Management framework; resourcing change managers and change advisors to projects and functional areas to provide implementation support

- Knowledge Management strategy & delivery

Key achievements
- Creation of Knowledge Management function within AGL; from identifying commercial opportunity to business case, recruitment of team, procurement of KM IT solution (full RFP process), implementation of KM solution and realisation of benefits
- Drove significant increases in business unit engagement score (10% uplift) by identifying opportunity to build a better communications and engagement strategy aimed at increasing connection, context, and consistency across 320 people
- Embedded Design Thinking (Human Centred Design) principles, practices, and processes across the team and broader business unit

Change & Communications Manager

In this role I was responsible for developing and continuously improving the Change & Communications strategy for the Customer Market Operations division. This role was a combination of executing work and leading 3 coordinators. Our team was accountable for the successful implementation of all business change to a workforce of over 1500 FTE spread across 6 sites in 3 countries. 

Key accountabilities
• Driving customer experience by translating complex business information into easy to understand content (using 4MAT model to cater to all learning styles and cultural backgrounds)
• Creation of Change & Communications framework that caters to a mix of waterfall and agile project delivery, by covering a change through all phases of the project lifecycle
• Management of change and communications within an agile environment
• Working with offshore BPOs to produce successful business outcomes
• Creation & development of new communications channels and approaches (vlogs, interactive displays, gamified content)

Change Manager

In this role I was responsible for all communication across our customer-facing channels in the retail business. I partnered with Senior Leadership to develop and deliver a comprehensive communications strategy with an emphasis on accessibility, consistency, and an authentic tone of voice. Ultimately, the role was about driving behavioural change in our people through effective communications strategies.

Key accountabilities
• Development & delivery of news channels for customer-facing staff
• Consulting with project managers to help develop & deliver communications plans for their work
• Utilising email, SharePoint, Yammer, digital signage, webinars, and other tools to communicate 
• Production and delivery of organisation wide broadcast emails
• Manage several agency relationships (digital, video, advertising)
• Graphic design, video production, event management and creation of learning material
• Copywriting, proofing, and editing of all retail communication (a mix of internal and external communication)

In this role I lead a team responsible for back-office operations and the continuous improvement of B2B processes through Lean methodology. Strong focus on driving a 'customer first' culture within the claims processing teams at Medibank.

I have an MBA from RMIT University and multiple certifications in product marketing, change management, human-centred design, and cultural intelligence. 

At MYOB, I lead the product marketing function for the Accountants and Bookkeepers segment, one of the largest and most strategic segments in the company. This involves identifying market opportunities, competitor analysis, product positioning, and enabling evangelism of our business. I apply design thinking, consulting, and marketing skills to align my team's work with business strategy and drive customer growth.
