Sema

As Director, I am the head of Engineering at Sema and report directly to the CEO. I am responsible for technology direction, efforts, and staffing involving Engineering, QA, and DevOps. 
At Sema, I implemented the Scrum framework and doubled the team size while increasing releases and reducing defects. I also oversaw efforts to implement automated end-to-end testing to minimize manual efforts and human errors. I partnered with third parties to find the best staffing solutions and services for our project, such as ML data labeling.

Implemented an existing distributed order management system into the tightly-woven environment to better deliver shipment information to our warehouses and provide flexibility for their needs.

Quickly adapted to support the highly customized environment used by the Utah Court systems, including hybrid Novell/Active Directory authentication, custom application support, as well as standard software/hardware issues.  Assisted in configuring a new server to host all courtroom audio for the State of Utah . I also improved existing processes to save the courts time and money.
