Started Conbi to solve for a problem I faced personally as an analyst. 

Problem- Although traditional BI tools were designed for self-service, many deployments of these solutions ended up being “report factories” where the semantic layer was used by IT experts or Analysts to create reports for others. This often reintroduced the bottlenecks and frustrations that self-service BI was supposed to get rid of.

Our Journey-
- Discovered a brilliant co-founder & CTO in Vishal who is also my friend from school!
- Built an algorithm to convert simple english into SQL queries automatically. 
- Gathered early adopters from companies like Udemy, Google, Amazon, Unilever
- Pivoted our solution twice after learning from customer feedback
- Interviewed at Y-Combinator
- Gathered our early customers and became profitable
- Worked and learnt from a team of 10 amazing people!

We realized that the problem we set out to solve for was multifold and to be able to solve it efficiently we need to account for much more.

I was hired as the first Sales & Marketing Operations Analyst at CustomerGauge (USA) where I worked with cross-functional teams within various business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance. My role was majorly divided into two functions: 

Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Achieved alignment on all operations and reporting across the funnel from lead generation to customer retention, monitored Key Performance Indicators and pro-actively surfaced insights to the leadership.
- Developed a predictive model to forecast revenue generation and the velocity to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Developed a robust attribution model to reveal the story of Sales & Marketing touch-points in the buyer's journey
- Identified, vetted service providers and on-boarded new systems (LeanData, Salesforce, Outreach, DiscoverOrg, Zapier, PandaDoc) to ensure best-practices in automation, data governance and data enrichment 
- Owned and managed the entire Sales and Marketing tech-stack. Certified Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201). 

Business Process Improvement
- Spearheaded a 5 month long project to transition into Account-Based Marketing (ABM) which included setting up workflows and processes for all aspects ABM such as ICP identification, Account Scoring, Lead to Contact Conversion & Routing, Account Prioritization, Engagement Tracking, Attribution, KPI measurement and Training. 
- Re-engineered the sales process as a part of a transformational strategy which reduced the time taken to close opportunities by 60%
- Developed a process to implement a CPQ solution to automate the quoting process

I did my co-op internship at Index Analytics during the final year of completing my graduate studies in Engineering Management. 

At Index Analytics, I practiced the art of making sense out of large, complex data-sets from disparate sources. I developed an expertise in using various data visualization tools and techniques to create interactive and meaningful visualizations in order to analyze large data-sets of healthcare information. I worked with a team of data analysts where I participated in regular JAD sessions and technical workshops to gather functional and business requirements for providing enterprise-focused BI solutions to healthcare clients.

During my graduate studies, I received an opportunity to work at Sony Electronics as a part of an International Summer Internship program in Sydney, Australia.  

At Sony, I was a part of the finance team where I experienced working on larger and more complex projects related to Digital Transformation and Business Process Improvement. I partnered with internal stakeholders within Sales, Marketing, Finance and IT teams, to facilitate the transition from an excel-based manual system to an automated, web-based system used for monitoring and controlling Advertising and Promotional (A&P) accruals and spendings. In addition, I assisted Category Controllers and Product Managers of each Business Unit (Television (TV), Digital Imaging (DI) and Video & Sound (V&S)) to develop product pricing strategies, sales forecasts and profitability studies as a part of the Quarterly Business Plan (QBP).

During my graduate studies, I voluntarily interned at Esurgi which was an early stage startup (Pre-Series A funding) in the medical device industry. 

Working at Esurgi was my first start-up experience where I closely worked with the Founder & CEO to bring a non-invasive medical device from its prototype to pilot phase. I collaborated with a team of engineering & design interns to develop the product road-map. I was also involved in the development of its first business model with an emphasis on realizing the ideal customer profile and the rationale of generating revenue from B2B and B2C streams. Additionally, I conducted financial analysis and forecasted the initial flow of sales after market introduction and developed a strategy to achieve the sales target.
