saw this on reddit and it's been stuck in my head since.
after your first 20-30 crore, a paid-off flat, and a decent car, there is no real difference in quality of life between you and a billionaire. 

you both have the same 24 hours. you both sit in the same traffic. you probably have more free time than him. 

so who's actually richer?
a plate of dal chawal tastes the same whether a billionaire eats it or you do.

money is a piece of paper or a number in your app. 
real life is chai on the balcony, morning walks, calling your mother without needing a reason.

become financially independent in India, that's roughly 20-30 crore, maybe lesser. 

eat good home cooked food. keep your relationships close. move your body. sleep well. call your parents. 

that's all there is to life. greed has no end. ask anyone stuck chasing the next promotion for the last ten years.

time is the currency of life. money is not.

the man with 50 crore in the bank but no time to attend his kid's annual day is not rich. 

the man who takes 3pm walks and eats lunch with his family is.

claude opus 4.6 just dropped and your feed is about to be flooded with prompt lists. most of them are useless without context. here's what actually works and why. (giveaway at the end)

instead of saving prompt lists you'll never open again, just try these 4. i use them almost every day.

1. creating SOPs without losing your mind

most people prompt: "help me create an SOP for onboarding clients"
that's like walking into a restaurant and saying "make food."
prompt this instead:
"you're an operations specialist. create a step-by-step client onboarding SOP for a [your industry] agency. the process starts when a client signs the contract and ends after [first deliverable]. include: exact timeline (day 1, day 2, etc.), who's responsible for each step (account manager vs content writer vs designer), what tools are used at each stage, and red flags to watch for. format it so a new hire with zero experience could follow it perfectly."
why it works: you gave it a role, a clear start and end point, specific structure, and a benchmark for quality. that's the difference between a generic checklist and something you'd actually hand to your team.

2. dissecting a viral post
most people prompt: "why did this post go viral"
prompt this instead:
"here's a linkedin post that got 50,000+ impressions [paste post]. do a full dissection: rate the hook out of 10 and explain why it works or doesn't. analyze the structure — white space, scannability, story flow. evaluate the CTA. identify the emotional trigger (curiosity, FOMO, personal confession, controversy). tell me what content bucket this falls into. then give me a reusable template where i can swap the topic but keep the same structure."

3. sales call prep
most people prompt: "help me prepare for a sales call"
prompt this instead:
"i have a discovery call tomorrow with a [role] who runs a [company size/type]. they found us through [channel]. help me prepare: 5 questions to uncover their pain points, 3 specific things i should observe about their linkedin before the call, 2 ways to frame pricing without leading with the number, a one-liner that communicates our value without sounding like a pitch, and the 3 most common objections someone at this level has — with my response to each."

i've put together 100 prompts like these for content writing, sales, outreach, hiring, and daily learning.

People tell me i'm disciplined because i've worked out 3-4 times a week for 5 years. discipline actually has nothing to do with it.

At some point, going to the gym stopped being a decision. it became who i am. there's no internal debate. no "should i go today?" i just go. the same way i brush my teeth.

and i think that's what most people get wrong about change. they focus on what they want. "i want to lose 5kg." "i want to earn more." "i want better relationships."

when you chase outcomes, you have to make a decision every single day. the only thing driving you is a result that isn't here yet. so every morning becomes "do i feel like it today?" and some days you won't. so you skip. then you skip again. then you're "starting fresh from monday" for the third time this year.

you don't get what you want. you get who you are.

your income reflects what you believe you're allowed to earn. your relationships reflect what you believe you deserve. your health reflects how you relate to your body. nothing in my life changed until my identity changed. not my goals. not my habits. my identity.

there are three layers to change. outcomes (what you get), processes (what you do), identity (who you are). most people start at layer 1. maybe work on layer 2. real change happens when you flip it.

instead of "i want to be fit," i asked "what does a fit person do?" a fit person trains. they don't negotiate with themselves. so i train. not because i'm chasing a goal. because that's just who i am.

simple.

Without naming your  job, tell me something you say 100 times everyday at work.
Here’s mine: “the hook sounds too AI. rewrite it.”

this week in AI was not normal. read this post slowly and carefully if you use ANY AI tool.

--> the head of safety research at Anthropic quit. said "the world is in peril." moved to the UK to write poetry and "become invisible."

--> half of xAI's co-founders have now left. the latest one said recursive self-improvement loops go live within the next 12 months.

--> anthropic's own safety report revealed something wild → claude can detect when it's being tested and changes its behavior accordingly.

--> yoshua bengio, one of the godfathers of AI, confirmed it. "we're seeing AIs whose behavior when tested is different from when they're being used." and no, it's not a coincidence.

--> bytedance released seedance 2.0. a filmmaker with 7 years of experience said 90% of his skills can already be replaced by it.

--> the US government declined to back the 2026 international AI safety report. first time ever.

i'm not trying to fear monger. this is just what happened in one week.

i scroll past more posts on LinkedIn because all it’s full of AI slop 
the classic em dash ( — ) , “here's what nobody talks about..” etc 
let me give you a prompt to end this:

see i use AI every day at my agency. my team uses it too. AI is not the problem. lazy prompting is which is why most of you say things like:

--> posts that open with "most people think X. but here's what nobody talks about..."
I've read that exact line 40 times this week from 40 different people.

--> em dashes thrown in everywhere for no reason. five of them in a single post. AI just can't stop.

--> "and do you know what i learned from all this?" 
nobody talks like that in real life.

--> "the kicker?"

so doing myself a favour and made this prompt that strips out all of these patterns and actually makes your content sound like you wrote it.

I’m someone who usually can tell if a video is AI or not immediately, but holy shit what did I just see.

6 months ago, AI videos were painfully obvious. 

stiff movements. dead expressions. weird robotic speech.
cut-to now they have
→ natural head movements 
→ casual "umms" in speech 
→ the person looks away from camera while thinking 
→ slight hand gestures while talking

I didn’t even think it video was AI tell I realized this never happened in breaking bad lol

to know which tools were used comment tools and i'll send it to you. 

just kidding, this was made using Seedance and Kling.

A hacker used Claude to steal 150GB of Mexican government data. 
the same Claude my team uses for 70% of our work. 
Here's how Claude agreed to it:

--> they told Claude they were doing a bug bounty
--> Claude said no, this violates safety guidelines
--> the hacker just kept asking
--> Claude gave in

once it agreed, it went all in:
--> wrote attack scripts
--> found vulnerabilities
--> generated thousands of reports telling the hacker exactly what to go after next

the hacker got into Mexico's federal tax authority, the national electoral institute, and four state governments. walked away with 195 million taxpayer records, voter data, and government employee credentials.

this isn't a reason to stop using AI. it's a reason to take AI security seriously. because right now most companies (including governments apparently) aren't ready for what's coming.

A few unpopular work realizations I’ve picked up along the way in my career.


Curiosity played a bigger role in my career than networking ever did. 
Asking better questions and taking the work seriously changed what came my way.

Kindness at work turned out to be practical. It reduced friction, made conversations easier, and helped things move without unnecessary tension.

Some of the best phases of work felt boring. That usually meant the work had become stable and responsibility had increased.

Most work stress came from unclear expectations, not from too much work.

And growth rarely felt dramatic, when done right and through consistency.

You usually realise these things only after you’ve been in the work for a while.

I’m a solopreneur, but I’ve never believed in doing everything alone.


WIn my professional life when I’m stuck, unsure, or thinking in circles, I don’t pretend to have all the answers. I ask for guidance from my mentor and this way I learn faster.

In my personal life, when things feel heavy, confusing, or overwhelming, I don’t push through silently. I talk to my therapist and I try to understand myself better so I don’t carry unresolved weight into my work or my decisions.

That support doesn’t make me less independent than more stable.

Being a solopreneur doesn’t mean being a one-person army. 
It can also mean taking responsibility for your growth, and that includes knowing when to ask for help.

None of us arrived here fully prepared. We learn every day, about the business, the industry, and ourselves. 

So if you think being a solopreneur means carrying everything by yourself, let this be your reminder. 

You're allowed to ask and to learn. You’re allowed to have people who have your back.
There’s nothing weak about that. It’s how you last.

I live and work in Varanasi, one of the oldest living cities in the world.


This city has seen centuries pass. Empires came and went. People rebuilt, adapted, continued. And somehow, the core of it is still here.

Then, I open my laptop and enter the world of LinkedIn. 

A world obsessed with the latest "hack" to beat the algorithm, “Trending" audio and 5-second hooks and always chasing a viral moment that will be forgotten by tomorrow morning.

The contrast is jarring.

In Varanasi, you learn that anything built to last requires a foundation that doesn't move. In marketing, we call this Category Authority.

Most personal brands are built on "sand", they shift every time a new trend emerges. They look like everyone else, sound like everyone else, and eventually, disappear like everyone else.

But over time I have seen that the elite founders never look for a "moment." They are looking for a Legacy.

We don't build brands on what’s "happening now." We build them on:
Unshakeable Character.
Intellectual Depth.
Strategic Silence.

LinkedIn makes you believe speed is a strategy. But speed without clarity just creates more content. It doesn’t build memory.

If your brand depends on what’s trending, it will always feel fragile. If it depends on what you consistently stand for, it becomes stable.

In a place that has seen centuries pass, 24-hour trends don’t look very powerful.
 
After all, the real work is choosing what you’ll still stand by years from now.

I’ve noticed the word agency doesn’t get taken seriously anymore.


People automatically assume that agency = trap!

When I tell someone I run one, there’s often a pause, like something people get stuck into, not something they choose with intent.

That’s why we don’t call Social Toast an agency.

We operate as a growth partner and an extended team.

We as your extended team take responsibility. 

We don’t work outside our clients’ businesses, we work close to them. 
Our decisions affect their outcomes, and we treat them that way.

I’m not interested in being hired for tasks. I’m here to be trusted with outcomes.

Because we don’t optimise for labels, we optimise for results.

Vedang Patel, founder of The Souled Store, started with very little capital.


₹1.75 lakh of his own. ₹5.25 lakh between three founders.

Five years later, before raising any external money, The Souled Store was already doing ₹30+ crore in revenue and was profitable.

Such a huge gap wasn’t possible if the customers weren’t convinced.

The product worked the first time, so people came back.
Return rate was slow and word of mouth was doing its magic.

When repeat behaviour is predictable, messaging doesn’t need to work hard.

Experience was matched with expectation and trust was built naturally.

For Vedang, retention followed from clear positioning.

Over time, the brand moved from “this looks cool” to “this will work for me.”
That shift usually takes a lot of marketing effort but here, it didn’t.

When a product does what it promises consistently, customers stop evaluating and start trusting.

At that point, it doesn’t need to persuade as much, it just needs to stay present.

That’s why I’m cautious of marketing that feels heavy. More content and more spend often appear when clarity is still missing and the product needs explanation.

Strong products simplify marketing. 
Clear positioning shortens decisions. 
Consistency carries it forward.

If buying still feels risky, marketing can only do so much.

Mayur Gediya is not an aesthetic founder and that’s a big reason people trust him.


If you spend a few minutes on LinkedIn or Instagram, you’ll notice how much effort founders put into how they appear. 

Tight branding, perfectly curated tone and carefully planned content aiming for perfect positioning.

Mayur didn’t lean into that.

As the founder of BL Fabric, he shows up online the same way he runs the business. 
He focuses on explaining the product clearly, repeating exactly what he’s selling, and making it easy for people to understand and decide.

The best part is he does that in the same way again and again, his videos follow one specific pattern and it is all surrounded by his business solely.

That repetition builds familiarity, and familiarity builds trust.

This is a great example of how one can build credibility without oversharing his personal life and how repetition helps build community.

And by staying visible and close to the product, he became the trust layer himself. Customers don’t feel sold to, they feel informed.

The larger lesson here is that you don’t need to look impressive online. You just need to be clear, repetitive, understood and connected.

Because when clarity stays consistent, the rest tends to follow.

Minimalist retains customers by being selective and not affordable.


The idea wasn’t new. Ingredient-first, clinical skincare already existed in markets like Canada and was trusted there.

Minimalist brought that standard to India and priced it within reach of a very specific buyer.

Not for bargain hunters, but for buyers who value clarity and consistency.

Minimalist also sits deliberately between two extremes. 

It isn’t luxury, and it isn’t very cheap. That middle ground is where repeat purchasing happens, because customers here are the people who want to be elite but they don’t have a lot of time in their hands.

These customers aren’t experimenting, they stick to their usuals and routines.

So basically retention here is driven from alignment. 

Mostly I have seen when retention drops or churn increases, the instinct is to become more affordable, more flexible and more pleasing. 

But price is a filter. When it’s too low, you attract experimenters and when it reflects outcomes, you attract stakeholders.

The same goes with positioning.

Brands that try to be liked by everyone end up being replaced easily. 

That’s the lens we apply at Social Toast as well. 

We don’t build voices for the masses, we help people become the obvious choice for the right audience.

So if you’re thinking about your own brand, it’s worth asking: Are people experimenting with you, or relying on you?

Because retention comes from being exactly right for someone and staying there.

IKEA’s marketing has always answered one core question:
How do we fit into your life?


That question explains almost everything about how IKEA operates.

IKEA doesn’t try to offer one perfect solution for everyone. It builds for variety.
A small apartment, a growing family, a temporary setup, a long-term home. The solutions change based on context.

That’s exactly how I think about personal branding.

Not everyone is here to build viral content or chase followers. Some people simply want a presence that feels right for them. A profile that reflects how they think and a way of showing up that aligns with who they are and how they want to be perceived.

At Social Toast, we don’t build profiles only for growth or visibility. We also build them for intention. 
For people who want their online presence to feel considered, consistent, and true to their context.

Personal branding doesn’t need only one outcome to be successful.
Sometimes, it’s simply about fitting into your life, the way you actually live it.

So, if too much online exposure feels unnecessary, that’s okay. Not every profile needs scale. Some are built simply to fit the person behind it.
