•	Focal point of contact to review and assess defects identified on critical components. Recommending the best course of action with the view on operational safety, technical functionality and allocated budget.  Generated savings of over £1.4M per annum, through practical repair solutions restoring components to their original condition, ensuring safe operations and full functionality. 
•	Developing innovative tooling and modifying existing devices to allow successful repairs on complex, non-standard and long-lead assets, which otherwise would take over 12 months and CAPEX investment to replace. Generating relevant operating documentation, procedures, and test instructions to reflect the innovative design and process. Overseeing development of tools and providing training with regard to their safe application and functionality. 
•	Responsible for originating, reviewing or approving various documents in line with relevant API standards, including: procedures, operational documents, guidelines, drawings, etc. 
•	Performing calculations to optimise performance and utilisation of various components, ensuring the required tolerances, selected materials and other safety critical parameters are maintained to withstand harsh operational conditions.

•	Responsible for maintenance of rotating, mechanical and hydraulic parts to ensure safe functionality of maintained vehicles. Working to tight deadlines to ensure high quality service and customers’ satisfaction. 
•	Identifying faults within electrical and mechanical components by using latest technology. Replacing parts and/or fixing problems by following relevant procedures and best practices.
•	Performing and recording electrical and safety checks. Collaborating with technical teams to resolve diagnostic problems. Programming electronic control units to enable flowless communication of all smart, interconnected devices post repair. 
•	Training young talent and the next generation of professional BMW technicians. Sharing practical and theoretical knowledge regarding safety systems, company procedures and best practices.

BMW Service Technician

•	Dismantling faulty components to identify issues and caring out relevant repairs when required. Fixing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic defects and installing parts in accordance with relevant company guidelines. Supporting colleagues and sharing expertise with regard to problem-solving and troubleshooting challenges concerning rotating and mechanical components.
•	Collaborating with Engineering Teams with regard to designed technology and solutions. Sharing feedback to improve systems, assembly and/or disassembly as well as processes and procedures.
•	Performing required safety checks and tests to verify safe offshore performance of assembled and/or repaired components e.g. pressure, hyperbaric, gas, temperature tests, etc.
•	Leading by example with regard to following safety rules and best work practices
