Developed, as a member of a team, a complete business plan for an environmental business with innovative positioning. The competitive advantage gained through positioning resulted from excellent strategic planning, environment and competitor analysis, risk management, marketing strategy to B2B and B2C, and human resource planning. The understanding of team dynamics, team building to TMSDI standards, and leadership through this role is equally matched to the exceptional strategic and consultative learning from developing the business plan.

With a PhD and extensive experience in both academia and industry, I specialize in digital transformation for the higher education sector, managing innovative software products of high impact, managing teams of software developers to deliver high quality solutions while being Agile. I bring over 22 years of diverse industrial experience leading projects that met and exceeded customer expectations. 

As an associate professor of computer science and computer engineering, I'm passionate about advancing education, research, and innovation. I focus on software engineering and the application of AI in software engineering to push the boundaries of software engineering practices and contributing to real-world challenges. 

As an educator, I strive to create a dynamic learning environment for my students encouraging collaborative learning, asynchronous and blended learning, and making use of AI tools in education. My courses span software engineering, operating systems, cloud computing, requirement engineering, project management, embedded systems, programming, and automatic control theory.

Beyond teaching, I am actively involved in research, supervising M.Sc. and PhD students, serving on various committees particularly with the Supreme Council of Universities, and contributing to the academic community through publications, talks, and conference participation. I am also deeply immersed in the Entrepreneurship Eco-system and I mentor a number of tech startups.
