Worked with Professors, Research Scientists, Post-Doctoral, Doctoral, and Master students in various projects for defining SW frameworks, architecture, porting, optimizations, and development. 

Recent projects:
1. Collecting the dataset for Fishes and Coral Reefs, which can be used for classification and segmentation.
2. Fine-tuning and transfer learning of Stable Diffusion, Style GAN3, and GLP Depth Estimation models for different datasets on IBEX.
3. Designed and developed a pipeline for the creation of the Human dataset.  Generated close to 2.12 M images from over 2B images.
4. Designed and developed a pipeline and various tools for the creation of the Windows Dataset. Interacted with UpWorkers for the collection of Windows images across the globe.  A dataset of over 75000 images was developed.
5. Designed and developed a pipeline for the creation of the Street Signs dataset. A dataset of over 10000 images was developed from Flickr.
6. Designed and developed SW framework for Tomography Reconstruction (various research papers into a single framework).  Ported all the previous code into this framework.
7. Designed and developed a plugin in ParaView that extracts surfaces for faulty places (seed points) and visualizes 3D images.  The computation time was saved by 60%.  
8. Designed and developed a plugin in Unreal Engine to render mesh.
9. Distribution of Mesh generation from images and generation of final mesh (merging) using the client-server mechanism.  
10. Designed and developed a wind visualization tool that allows one to visually analyze the wind resource in the MENA region and perform simple analyses like area average and time average.
12. Designed and developed automated applications that improve manpower by 80% for Saudi Electricity bills. 
13. Designed and developed automated applications that improve manpower by 90% for conference badge generation, certificate generation, and invitations.

Software Programmer

Lead a team of 6 members for design and development of diagnostics tool for STB based on KreaTV architecture, Linux and C++. This tool is used for diagnosing of Hybrid (IP as well as QAM) STBs which has server and different clients in the home network. Different components of the system which includes HDD (SMART attributes, status, temperature, and recovery), USB, eSATA, QAM tuners, DRAM, Ethernet, MoCA, LED’s, Power Control, Fan Control, Audio Output, Video Output, HDMI, Cable Card, etc., are diagnosed. Also this tool is used for getting streaming (QAM, IPTV, VOD, and DVR) characteristics, network statistics, process statistics, etc. This tool can be initiated from TR-069, Remote PC, and UI. The tool’s UI is based on the browser (which has HTML5 support) using SVG and Java Script.

Involved in the project estimations, design, development, review, and delivery.

As a Manager, deputed to one month and one week to client location for requirements, design, and deliverables discussions for Web Browser, IPTV and HbbTV features, which are interactive features of Digital Television (DTV) and connected TV.
Started and managed the offshore-team of 25 members for design, development, testing and delivery of Web Browser, IPTV (Japan and Proprietary), and HbbTV using commercial browser from scratch.
Designed and developed various plug-ins, helper applications using C++, Direct FB, commercial browser SDK, User Java Scripts, Native Java Script Extensions (NJSE), and different others using proprietary Frameworks.
Usage of NPAPI plug-ins, libcurl, Native Java Script Extensions, User Java Scripts, Open IPTV Forum (OIPF) for HbbTV, glib, doxygen, Video Backend for HTML 5 (video/audio tags), ns plug-ins, gmock/gtest, generate your project (gyp), valgrind.

Designed and developed a shared library mechanism in TV550 for storing the retrieving of programme information of DVB-C, DVB-T services in the persistent storage.  The Direct FB FusionDale mechanism (IPC) used for interaction between the applications in the system for accessing the persistent data in the SPACE architecture.

Designed and developed an algorithm for pointing based gesturing, a control language for identification of gestures instead of traditional remote control.  Verified both gesture algorithm and control language on TV543 platform using USB air mouse and U-wand.  TV543 platform is based on MIPS, Linux and used C, MG-R frame work.

Designed and developed, Joint User Interface and Control Engine (JUICE), a single thread control engine, which mainly requires RTK, and graphics supports for different Consumer Electronic devices like DTV, DVD, STB, etc. 

Ported RTK and graphics (DirectFB) on different platforms like Linux, ST20, VxWorks, PSoS, Renesas . 

Interacted with external supplier for developing WYSIWYG tool of JUICE Application Development Environment (JADE), for the creation and verification of User Interface with application and middleware. This reduces 40% of development cost.

Developed a JPEG decoder for displaying advertisements data for on-line services in the EPG, generates revenues for the product.

Usage of MVC (Model View and Control) different design patterns like Decorator, Strategy, Composite, and Chain of responsibility.

Ported JPEG2000 on TriMedia, used  TM compilation and hardware instruction to reduce the decoding time.  Performance improvement of 11% achieved.  

Developed abstract performance modelling of ASIP using COSY model.  Used Y-API, a model computation methodology; A|RT, an abstract component modelling; VCC, performance modelling of hardware; and TSS, performance model of the entire system.
