In this role, my main goal is to support the growth of the Corporate Innovation Program of Start it X and Start it X itself. For the Corporate Innovation Program, I focus on methodology (lean innovation, design thinking and business modelling) and support for our customers from project approach to project execution. I create an open and self-steering environment for the team, to support their growth and the organisation's growth. I share knowledge both internally and with our corporates, with a fierce passion for human-centred working and thinking.

As an Innovation Facilitator, I support teams throughout the organization to build their innovation dream in finance & insurance. 

I develop and introduce formats that work in a larger scale, so that we can help many teams in design thinking & innovation. Formats introduced are: an innovator toolkit (inspired by Adobe kick box), round table discussions, an Ideation Jam and many more. 
Together with Start It @ KBC, we also introduce the corporate incubation program, to help teams develop their ideas in a lean start-up environment.

We build bridges between the business requirements and technical implementations, to deliver the best in class experience. We work for KBC Mobile (mobile application), KBC Touch (tablet and desktop application) and other digital applications to ensure our customer's get the job done. In our work, we combine interaction design, user-centered thinking and service design techniques for a holistic and in-depth end result.

These Days

As head of my user experience design team, I put different hats depending on the time of the day, and the context I move about… I coach the team, set out the methodological framework, define user experience design or web related projects and suppport the team where necessary in various project contexts.

Other responsibilities included interaction design, information architect and support in defining project approaches for UXP projects.

My main interest and expertise was situated in interaction and information design for complex human-centered design projects on the one hand, and moderating and creating workshops and workshop formats on the other hand.

Besides these responsibilities as a consulant, I managed the coordination and organisation of user-centered design seminars, a.o. a two-day course in human-centered interaction design, information architecture...
