The field of digital marketing intrigued me at the age of 19.  I started with Google's Digital marketing certification to learn more about it. 

Since then, I have completed courses, read blogs, watched videos and more.

In short, I did whatever I could to learn more about this field. 

Intrigue turned into interest, and I decided to build my career in this field. 

But..

Digital Marketing is a broad field.

I had to find something specific that I was great at, help me in my career moving forward, and a skill that benefits the company I work for.

A jack of all trades and a master of one.

I found that one, no two skills.

It was SEO & Copywriting 🖊️. 

Copywriting came up as I started writing product descriptions, ghost articles, blogs and social media copies for clients. 

SEO because no matter how many times we talk about meta tags and other tech stuff, it all comes down to quality content being delivered with the right optimization strategies.

They both go hand-in-hand

While I kept learning more about copywriting & SEO, I had an observation 🧐

The common thing among them is that the more you seem conversational, the better your writing will be. 

The tone will differ, and the style of presentation will differ. 

But, what stays the same is the ability to have a good conversation 🤝🏼. 

You cannot directly see the person in front of you. So, how well you converse & how accurately you understand the intent of the search determines how well it sells.

It is a challenge that makes SEO & copywriting fun. 

Benefits over features is a common term in copywriting. 

What does it mean 🤔? 

🎧 It means you need to listen well (to your audience/their intent) and make the person you are talking to/selling feel important (engagement).

🤝 Use your tone (brand tone) and identity (brand identity) to make a lasting impression and a long-lasting relationship (brand loyalty). 

👥People who know you are most likely to buy from you (leads/sales).
