- Judgment.
- Ethics.
- Context.
- Meaning.

𝗣𝗛𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝟯 — 𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗪𝗜𝗡

You bring the “why.”
AI brings the “how.”
That combo is unstoppable.

But most people still fall into the same traps:

𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘀:

- Thinking “busy” equals “valuable.”

- Hiding behind process instead of insight.

- Treating AI like a threat instead of a tool.

- Waiting for permission to level up.

The tide is going out fast.
Some will be caught exposed.

The real question isn’t “Will AI take my job?”

Most enterprises don’t fail with AI because the models are bad.
They fail because they expect one model to magically fit every problem.

I recently met a CIO who proudly announced, “𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗟𝗠 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆.”

𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻:
• The legal team said it was too “creative.”
• The analytics team said it was too “dumb.”
• The product team said it was too “slow.”

𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.
The problem wasn’t the LLM,  it was the assumption that one model could be everything, everywhere, all at once.


𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝗜 ≠ 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗟𝗠.
Enterprise AI = choosing the right model, right context for the right use case.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀:
1️⃣ Foundation: broad LLMs for general reasoning.
2️⃣ Domain: specialized models tuned for your industry.
3️⃣ Task: lightweight models optimized for specific workflows.
4️⃣ Guardrails: policy, evaluation, and monitoring to keep everything aligned.

It’s a model ecosystem, not a monolith.

If your AI strategy starts with “𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗟𝗟𝗠 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗼𝗻?”
You’ve already limited what your business can become.

Start with use cases, constraints, and context. Let the architecture follow.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲-𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀-𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹?

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁.

Most teams think all data is useful. That’s not true.

Acting on the wrong data at the wrong time can do more harm than having no data at all.

Wisdom is not about collecting more numbers.

It’s about knowing what to ignore.

𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝘄, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲, 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲.

• Their AI models underperform.
• Their dashboards mislead.
• The tool is not the problem.
• It’s the quality of the data.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿:

1. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝘆, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵. Raw data is like a green banana. Not ready to eat. It needs context and refinement.

2. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘆𝘀. Insights have a shelf life. What worked last month can mislead you today.

3. 𝗥𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. Good decisions use data that is timely, complete, and well understood.

4. 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆. Many teams are drowning in data lakes but starving for insight.

If you use every data point you can find, you become data-bloated.

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗜 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀:

1. Define what makes data ripe. Is it timely? Complete? Verified by a trusted source?

2. Build a discard culture. Teach teams to ignore data that is not ready.

3. Create ripening processes. Add governance, context, and checks so data is actionable.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮.

It’s to pick the right one at the right time.

𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝗼.

A few years back, I sat in a crowded conference room. A senior executive stood up and said, “We’re now a data driven organisation.”

Heads nodded. People looked inspired. My colleague leaned over and said, “Brace yourself-the dashboards are coming.”

He was right.

Soon, the dashboards arrived. Charts, KPIs, heatmaps. All bright and polished. None of it changed how decisions were made.

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿.

This is what I call the dashboard delusion.

Data looks powerful. But it is always partial. Always biased. Always looking backward.

When leaders let dashboards call the shots, they don’t lower risk. They multiply it.

It’s like driving with eyes fixed on the rearview mirror. You see the road behind, but miss what’s ahead.

There is a better way.

𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲. 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻.

Data driven means “the numbers told us to.” Data informed means “the numbers helped us see, and we made the call.”

Aristotle called it the golden mean. Not reckless guessing. Not blind trust in numbers.

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁-𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵.

Dashboards can show you where you’ve been. Only judgment helps you choose where to go next.

If you want real intelligence in your company, ask better questions. What does this metric mean? What could it be hiding? Where does human judgment matter most?

The moment you stop letting numbers drive and start letting judgment steer, “data driven” stops sounding smart-and starts sounding dangerous.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝘅 𝗶𝘁.

Most teams chase bigger models and longer prompts.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵? 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Context is not a feature. It’s the product.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁:

1️⃣ 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. I pick what matters, chunk it down, and format it for clarity.

2️⃣ 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴. I shape the prompt, give the agent memory, and set clear instructions.

3️⃣ 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. I let the AI adjust in real time using tools, policies, and grounding.

𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.

- You write down the key decisions. You clear space in your head.

- You focus on what’s next, but you never lose track of what matters.

𝗧𝗼𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹.

- More tokens do not mean better answers.

- Retrieval is not lookup. It is reasoning.

- When the signal gets lost, output collapses.

- The future is not prompt engineering alone.

𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲.

- AI is only as good as the ecosystem of inputs you build around it.

- Set your budget, risk limits, and compliance rules before you start.

- Most AI chaos comes from fuzzy boundaries.

- No clear rules, no clear results.

3. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀.

- Pick one use case.

- Prove a measurable lift in 30–45 days.

AI fails when leaders can’t agree on what “good” looks like.

𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗼.

I once joined a project where the AI team told me, “𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮’𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆.”

Three weeks later, half the models were hallucinating.

The other half waited for “better data” that never came.

“Ready” only meant the data existed somewhere.

Not that it was structured, governed, or trusted.

That was the gap.

𝗔𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗼𝘀.

No matter how advanced the model, if your data is not clear and reliable, the results will misfire or stall.

The most successful AI teams do something different.

- They treat governance as the foundation, not a barrier.

- Good governance gives clarity, accountability, and speed.

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁, 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴.

With it, you get real value, not just numbers. I’ve seen companies waste months chasing “AI-ready” dreams.

But the teams that win start with the basics.

Build trust in your data first.

Everything else gets easier.

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗹𝘆 — 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Everyone keeps hunting for the “mystery reason” their data team can’t deliver.

There is no mystery. The signals are screaming.

The problem is knowing *which* signals matter.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵:

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀? 𝗠𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

I see the same mistake repeat across companies.

- They chase the latest tools.

- They build proofs of concept.

- They stack up licenses and dashboards.

But the winners do something else.

They start with a clear strategy-and stick to it.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝟱-𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲:

1. 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀. No side projects. Every use case must move the needle.

2. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Good AI runs on good data. Fix your data quality before chasing models.

3. 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸. Don’t buy what’s shiny. Pick what fits your team and your goals.

4. 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀. AI is not just for data scientists. Train business and tech teams together.

5. 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲. Set the guardrails early. Make transparency and ethics part of the process.

I’ve seen this in Enterprises. Dependencies everywhere. Docs and tools that promise change but only add noise.

𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲.

- “But now we have AI,” you’ll say.

- Truth? We had AI before. It didn’t solve the core problem then, either.

- Technology is powerful. But it only multiplies what’s already there.

→ Cut the meetings you don’t need.
→ Keep agendas sharp and decisions fast.
→ Use tech to speed up, not add noise.

3️⃣ 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿.

→ Most orgs don’t have usable data.
→ It’s scattered-SharePoints, laptops, hard copies.
→ Start cleaning now. AI is useless without it.

4️⃣ 𝗠𝗮𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀.

→ Excel hides more than it solves.
→ Who uses it? How? Why?
→ Replace only after you understand the flow.

𝗗𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁. 𝗔𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀.

Are you clearing the mess before adding AI?

Every company says the same thing.

We need one more dashboard.

But I see the real problem every day.

Sales and Finance pull different “revenue” numbers.

Marketing calls a “customer” something else.

Operations trusts none of it.

So teams build another dashboard.

𝗔 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗜 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹. 𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀, “𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁?”

Silence.

Dashboards don’t create trust. Clear definitions do.

Before the next big visualization, start here:

→ 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰.

Fifty charts won’t help if nobody agrees what they show.

You don’t need more dashboards.

How are you building trust in your data?

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗜 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳𝗳. 𝗠𝘆 𝟯-𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿.

I see many companies launch AI pilots with high hopes. They want quick wins, but end up with stalled projects and little impact. The difference between those stuck in “pilot mode” and those driving real ROI? It’s not more tools or bigger budgets. It’s a simple, focused approach that 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝗜 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲-𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁:

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭: Start with a clear AI vision that ties to your 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀. Don’t chase tech for tech’s sake. Anchor every initiative to what matters for your company. I listen to both leadership and front-line teams. The best ideas often come from the people closest to the problems. Organize your efforts by strategic domains-like customer journey or claims-so you can build on each win, not just chase random use cases.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮: Ruthlessly prioritize. I use a simple matrix: Value × Actionability × Feasibility. 𝗔𝘀𝗸: Will this move the needle for customers or employees? Can we deliver value fast? Is the data ready? I see contact center AI-like virtual agents-score high here. They solve real pain, are quick to launch, and show results you can measure.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟯: Measure what matters, from day one. Don’t wait until after launch. Track five areas: model quality, system health, user adoption, operational impact, and business impact. Set baselines before you build. Make these metrics visible to both execs and product teams. This keeps everyone honest and focused on results that count.

Most AI pilots fail because they chase hype, pick the wrong problems, or measure only the tech-not the business. The companies winning with AI treat it as a business strategy, not a side project. Vision, prioritization, and disciplined measurement make all the difference.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗜 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲?

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗜 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲? 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀. 𝗪𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘅 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲.

I’ve learned this lesson the hard way.

Progress stalls when data and AI leaders are separated from the engineers building the systems.

- Projects burn budget, but impact stays fuzzy.

- Teams train on LLMs, but real intuition comes from shipping at scale.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲.

- Small teams. One clear KPI. Direct Slack or Teams channel.

- Blockers get removed in hours, not quarters.

- This isn’t a nice-to-have-it’s the operating system for enterprise AI.

𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲.

- Confidently wrong responses kill adoption fast.

- You need technology that knows when it’s unsure.

- Systems that let users steer in real time.

- Corrections that feed back and make the AI smarter for your business.

- Generic models don’t know your workflows, edge cases, or risk posture.

Warren Buffett will step back from running Berkshire Hathaway. Greg Abel, will take over as CEO at the end of the year. He also shared he will no longer write the annual report or speak at shareholders meeting.

𝗜𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿?🏛️

The Fed will meet on 9th December to decide whether to cut fed funds rate for a third consecutive meeting. Both sides of Fed's "dual mandate" are worsening & the Fed lacks data due to government shutdown, which could be lifted soon.

Polymarkets are pricing in a 72% of a further rate cut of 25 basis points. This would be good for ''risk on'' markets. But with blips in inflation data its not a full gone conclusion.

𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿? ₿🚀

There is debate about whether we've seen the top of the Crypto Markets after a pullback in BTC to $103,000.

I have mentioned before how the government shutdown is having a big impact on liquidity. That continues to be the case & nothing shows that more than the price & sentiment in altcoins. This I expect to come roaring back after an agreement is in place to reopen the government.

I also expect rate cuts in December which as mentioned will be great for ''risk assets''. We also have the Clarity Act which looks set to be rolled out, providing a framework for better guidance on Crypto regulations.

We're seeing steady inflows into Bitcoin & ETH ETF's but we are also seeing approval of altcoin ETF's which will bring more institutional money into select altcoins which could start the momentum of alt season. 

I think we have about 70/80% chance of further upside in the Crypto Markets.

𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 - 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀🛢️

Civitas Resources is merging with SM Energy in an all stock deal valued at approximately $12.8 billion. The combined company will operate under SM Energy name & have an expanded portfolio across the Permian basin. The merger is expected to be completed in first quarter 2026.

There was a lot of debate over whether they would get acquired by a larger producer & thus command a larger premium. What actually happened is a ''merger of equals''. A consolidation of the industry was required & by combining resources it should be stronger longer term, getting a stronger footing in the Permian Basin. This continues to be a longer term hold for us & I expect it to do well with its new added strength.

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗿 - 𝗖𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗱! 🐻

Build a bear has had one of the best 5 years in the stock market, providing NVIDIA like returns.

𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗨𝗣 𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗥𝗬𝗣𝗧𝗢

Having been in the Crypto space for a long time, I've seen this market setup before. A long stretch of doubt, frustration & fear eventually gives way to a burst of optimism that comes out of nowhere. People convince themselves, this time the cycle will break its own rules. Markets love one last dramatic rally, a final burst of excitement that pulls everyone back in just before a period of dampening enthusiasm. It doesnt mean this technology isnt ground breaking because I personally feel blockchain technology will be one of the biggest game changers in the next decade & BTC will be the store of value of the future.

But...

What is happening today in both crypto & the wider market shows all the classic signs of a late stage melt up. Macro conditions are lining up & we may be approaching the last powerful surge of this cycle. It feels strange to say that after months of bearish sentiment, but that is exactly why a rally becomes possible. When has the Crypto market ever gone out with a wimper? Before any altcoins have really taken off? It doesn't happen because the retail investor needs to make its way up the risk curve before euthoria gives way for caution.

Several forces are now working together to create an environment primed for a parabolic move. Liquidity is the most obvious one. After a long period of tightening, we're beginning to see signs of easing again. The possibility of fresh liquidity flowing into the system from the Treasury & a more dovish attitude from the Fed provides the spark that risk assets thrive on. Crypto in particular is extremely sensitive to liquidity & tends to react with violent upside when conditions shift in its favour.

Confidence in crypto has been worn down to its lowest point in a while with bitcoin being roughly flat for the year against equities which have provided larger gains. Many participants have either abandoned the space entirely or numb to price movements. Even the fear & greed index are deep in extreme fear territory, a level often been followed by strong rebounds.

There are also several unexpected catalysts developing at the same time. Government funding resolutions after the government shutdown, shifts in policy expectations & a potential easing stance at the Fed. We will also potentially see lower interest rates going into next year.

My targets remain unchanged. I still expect a cycle peak in $150,000 to $170,000 range for Bitcoin. That has been my view since the beginning of the bull market.

If I am right we will trim our profits & reduce exposure to Crypto on the parabolic move. Also if the base case is not correct we'll have to trim positions so we are not caught unaware if gripped with an early bear market. I truly believe the 4 year cycle has just been extended 3-6 months due to exceptional circumstances outlined above. 20-30% downward moves happen  even during bull markets.

𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 & $WBD 👙🎬

I closed positions today in Victoria Secret with a profit of 145% & Warner Bros Discovery (+151%).

When I took the position in Victoria Secret 5 months ago they had suffered with lacklustre results, tarriff hurdles & a new management team. Bringing share price close to 52 week lows. New CEO, Hilary Super has turned things around for the brand. She has overseen a rise in sales in Q3 of 9% & raised its full year outlook. Now 5 months on things are looking better but I have decided to exit the position as the assymetric upside is not the same. I dont need to catch the whole move ''𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘂𝗽𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹''. 

Today Netflix announced they will acquire Warner Bros. at $27.50 per share. This marks the end of a long journey but in Feb 2024 when I opened these positions things werent as rosy. You have to spot the turnaround before it happens & sometimes when those companies are attractive enough they get acquired.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 CCOI ⚡︎

I took a position recently in Cogent Communications. The bull case for Cogent Communications centers on its potential to leverage its unique, extensive fiber network to capture significant market share in the high growth optical wavelength market, driven primarily by AI and hyperscaler demand. The price has been battered this year but although revenue has dropped & dividend cut, I still think most of it is optics and time lags. I think the market has overeacted, margins are widening & wave length segment will scale.

𝟵𝟰% 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗙𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗨𝗧 ✂️

Due to weakening job numbers, polymarkets are predicting a 94% chance of a 0.25% interest rate cut in Dec 2025.

This combined with a new FED Chair in early 2026 with a dovish stance is likely to be good for ''risk assets''.

𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 & 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻🐻

I have had great success recently with some of my short hedge positions.

I am currently up +31% on Build A Bear Workshop short position which I timed my buy near 52 weeks highs & I am also up +31% on my Iris Energy short position.

Both positions are close to taking profit now and the great thing is its less correlated with the rest of the portfolio & sized cautiously.

The final position I have started to scale into is a short position is Monster Beverage.

𝗖𝗿𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆? ₿

I wrote a post a few weeks ago when BTC was in the low $83K's & sentiment was at a low which said I expected an explosive end to the Crypto Cycle & that I expected a delay of 3-6 months in the normal crypto cycle due to macro factors. We have seen a slight recovery since then. But the move is still warming up but believe explosive tailwinds are on the horizon.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟯𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀

I recently saw an infographic showing what everyday expenses could cost in 30 years in the US if the next three decades follow the last. Whenever people talk about money & the future, you get a mix of optimism & panic. For Millennials & Gen Z, that feeling is familiar. You look at the price of a home, rent, groceries, and you wonder what life will cost decades from now. That’s why investing isn’t something “grown ups” start later. It’s a necessity.

Thinking 30 years ahead, the first thing that hits you is how much more expensive everything will be. Inflation doesn’t need to be wild to make a big impact. Even small yearly increases add up. A coffee that’s $3 or $4 today could easily be $11. A home already out of reach for many could triple and sit around $2.1 million. Retirement, which most people prefer not to think about, will require a much larger pot than previous generations ever needed. Yet many still plan for retirement based on today’s prices, which is a huge mistake.

This is where investing steps in. Not as a shortcut, but as a tool that helps your money grow fast enough to keep up. Saving alone won’t cut it anymore. A savings account is basically a melting ice cube. Older financial advice, save, buy a house young, rely on a pension, doesn’t match today’s reality. Millennials & Gen Z are dealing with student debt, higher living costs, an unpredictable job market & the loss of pension security. You have to build your future yourself.

The good news is investing has never been more accessible. You don’t need a lot to begin. Small amounts invested consistently through dollar cost averaging can build confidence. The earlier you start, the more time compounding has to work & compounding is a silent superpower.

Investing shifts your mindset. Instead of feeling like the world is happening to you, you start feeling like you actually have a stake in the future. Yes, markets will rise & fall, and those drops can feel dramatic. But zoom out over decades & historically markets trend upward despite crashes, wars & recessions. Investing isn’t about predicting the next big thing. It’s about participating in long term growth.

Millennials & Gen Z face a future where money has to work harder than ever. Prices will rise, retirement will need more planning & safety nets older generations enjoyed probably won’t be there. Investing early is one of the few advantages younger people still have.

So be prepared for $11 coffees, $2.5 million homes & $10K monthly rent because it’s coming. You can’t stop inflation. But while it works against you, compounding can work for you.
