- Designed and built data pipelines, models, reports and services to improve marketing metrics and cultivate customer relationships using data-driven approaches.

- Developed an attribution model combining GA4 web traffic data with offline conversions to produce a more accurate measure of Return-On-Ad Spend (ROAS) from ad placements.

- Helped increase confidence in channel profitability, leading to budget adjustments that then increased ROAS.

- Established a data pipeline from a remote legacy ERP system to an Azure SQL Database, and others from various APIs, centralizing and transforming key data for determing KPIs, ML features, and a data mart connected to PowerBI dashboards and a Multi-Armed Bandit (MAB) model for reward optimization applications.

As a Data Architect, I design, build, and optimize enterprise data systems to create reliable and trustworthy data. My focus is on helping organizations solve complex problems and improve business outcomes. After evaluating existing data infrastructure and applications, I develop and implement technical roadmaps that align with strategic business needs. 

Ediphi: I collaborated with the software development team to fix inaccuracies in Mixpanel reporting by identifying source code bugs and implementing durable solutions. I also built a cloud-based Excel add-in using React and TypeScript to enable financial reporting and syncing of construction estimate data, replacing outdated, macro-based solutions.

Prager University: I reduced donation data syncing lag from 5-7 days to just 1 hour using Airflow, enabling near real-time reporting across daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards in PowerBI. I also implemented personalized content delivery for millions of daily email subscribers in Iterable, and delivered security upgrades to the Snowflake data warehouse by restricting access and enforcing 2-Factor Authentication. Reduced costs through query monitoring and optimization techniques, and removing unused objects. 

Rare Collectibles TV: I developed an attribution model that combined web traffic data with offline conversions to produce a more accurate measure of Return-On-Investment (ROI) resulting from ad placement across online and offline channels. I helped the business gain confidence in which channels were actually making or losing money, which led to budget adjustments that increased ROI across all channels in the following two months due to smarter ad placements. The major pain point I solved was a data pipeline from an on-premise, legacy ERP system hosted remotely by a third-party which contained the offline conversions data needed to true-up the online conversions data in a downstream dbt pipeline.

Led product and engineering at Datalogz to revolutionize the administration and production of business intelligence. 

In Jan 2023, I launched a complete redesign of the Datalogz product mission, vision, strategy, and value propositions, including redesign and implementation of all architecture, systems and code repositories while managing a team of seven engineers. 

Two months later, in Mar 2023, Datalogz raised $2.3M in seed funding led by Squadra Ventures after successful pilots with Fortune 500 companies.

Nine months later, in Dec 2023, Datalogz raised another $5M in funding led by GreatPoint Ventures, "unveiling our groundbreaking solution to end Business Intelligence (BI) sprawl across Fortune 500 enterprises."

In less than one year, my efforts helped the company's valuation increase by 25x to $22M+, $100k ACV, in addition to creating a new market category: BI Ops. 

Our cloud-based BI Ops platform, recommendations engine, and automation tools empower teams to streamline their operations — saving countless hours of tedious work and eliminating wasteful spend.

Founded the Data Engineering team and scaled impact across the organization.

Designed and developed an enterprise warehouse and reporting system to deliver timely and valuable insights to 150+ construction projects and 400+ employees and field staff, including customer facing reports, dashboards, and applications used by a network of 5000+ trade partners, 500+ architects, engineers, and clients.

Held data architecture and engineering responsibilities for all data warehousing systems, ETL pipelines, process automations, data applications, data models, data visualizations, downstream analytics and reporting. 

Managed process changes and data migrations to cloud infrastructure including deployment of enhanced reporting and analytics critical to the company's ability to improve efficiency, mitigate risk, build resilient relationships with trade partners, improve margins, and help enhance cost predictability.

Delivered mission-critical financial reporting systems used by hundreds of construction projects monthly to snapshot, forecast, and manage profitability projections, reducing manual processing time by 20x and help automate the aggregation and reporting on over $8b in construction transactions.

Created new revenue channels enabling growth of $400k in two years through the deployment of mobile software and API to over 85 construction projects. Helped save clients significant costs by automating daily jobsite attendance and personnel tracking using IoT badges integrated with a web application.

Led the deployment of Airflow across on-premises and cloud environments, including on host and in containers, providing batch and near-real-time orchestration for ETL / ELT jobs. 

Developed frameworks, standards, and internal Python libraries for fast reusability and scalability of code by any member of the team, delivering a self-serve development platform that improved data quality, reduced complexity, bugs and overall time to value.
