31Ten is a Shanghai-based digital agency bridging together strategic thinking and technical expertise. We help multinationals and startups alike with our digital strategy, marketing, tech and UX-UI solutions. 

As the Head of UX-UI at  31Ten, I am responsible for what the digital product looks and feels like. I manage the usability aspects of all digital projects, collaborating with the strategy & development teams to make sure we build the best solution for the business challenge we’re facing. 

Key Accomplishments: 

➨ Revamped the free Wi-Fi portal of both Shanghai’s airports. This interface is receiving >2M visitors a year. 
➨ Entirely redesigned the user-experience, flow and interface of a consumer bank’s main internal web application.
➨ UX /UI design for a breakthrough startup B2B mobile app reinventing recruitment cooptation.

Sharktopus

Sharktopus is a side project of mine to cover all my creative services out of 31Ten’s scope, namely branding and purely creative/artistic projects. Since inception, I have helped numerous clients from diverse industries with their corporate supports and visual identity. I tend to specialize in illustration based designs.

► Developed a series of illustrations for art events.
► Led and coordinated creative teams in various production phases.
► Designed and developed catalogs, brochures, advertisements, posters and signage.

I came on board as Sekkei Studio’s Art Director to develop websites designs, logos, brochures and all the digital communication tools for our clients. 
I was in charge of a team of 2 designers and took the direction of all the visual and usability aspects of Sekkei’s projects, helping the company retain and gain more clients. 
Key Accomplishments: 
➨ Designed the official Chinese website and social media properties for one of the world’s biggest video game editor
➨ Created style guides, concept art, and maintained a consistent visual direction on the behalf of varied clients from very diverse industries : B2B, B2C, F&B etc.

My unique and diverse background plus my years of experience have provided me an integral understanding on how to create intuitive and efficient design solutions for the Digital. 
Dropped school at 14. Been a stretcher bearer, a pastry Chef, a decorator on glass, before deciding to apply my craftsmanship to digital interfaces. Oh, and did I mention I have severe dyslexia?

I work most efficiently hand in hand with clients to create the best user experience, while keeping the business goals as a horizon. As a committed artist, I enjoy nothing more than to see my craft being live and used by thousand of users, stakeholders or consumers. Over the years, my vast expertise in conceptual Usability and Interface Design has enhanced the performance of several businesses in industries as diverse as banking, car brands, food & beverage, heavy industry, SaaS software, FMCG e-commerce etc.

With an eye on digital future, I have expanded my tentacles in researching and creating highly functional digital platforms, websites, Wechat “H5” mini-sites, apps, social marketing assets, tirelessly bridging the gap between business and technology.
