This is a first.
 
I’m a hearing of candidates making a wish list of companies they want to work for but....
 


They are then reaching out to people in similar roles in those companies and are offering them €5,000 – 10,000 if they successfully refer them into the company 🤯  - generally they would have received sizable redundancy packages.
 
Essentially, they’re flipping the referral model on its head,  paying the referrer instead of the employer, or in some cases they will get a double referral bonus.
 
I’ve never seen this before in my years in recruitment, job searching is already hard enough and now this!
 
But this is definitely a sign of how competitive and candidate-driven some parts of the market have become.
