People think leadership is about making decisions fast. It isn't.

On bad days, it's easy to fire off an email, shut down an argument, tell yourself you're solving problems by acting quickly.

Speed masks a lack of control.

The worst mistakes I've watched happen didn't come from slowness. They came from people moving too fast, the impulsive reply, the knee-jerk reaction, the power move made on autopilot.

In tense environments, nothing hurts a team more than a stressed-out leader transmitting panic. The impact ripples out. Slack messages get clipped. Meetings feel like a minefield. Results slip.

Ok here’s what i mean:

whenever i am in doubt regarding AI and it's specific usage, 
I open his page. 

Not because he’s my close friend or
he’s the only person on the platform, 
but over time by consistently educating about one thing, 
he positioned himself as the “AI guy” on LinkedIn. 

He doesn’t switch to random motivational quotes, or gym routines, 
Rather, he sticks to his niche, i.e., AI.

Not cause he posted once,
but he reinforced it over and over. 

Positioning is not about saying something once,
or just reposting old posts again and again,
It’s about creating depth. 

If you change your topic every week, 
people won’t know what to associate you with, 

BUT

If you repeat one core belief long enough,
your name becomes shorthand for that idea.

Become an industry leader in your field just by:
- Staying in your niche
- Repeating one belief
- Exploring it deeply
- Not chasing trends

Stop being everything to everyone. Start being something to someone.

Well i need to confess this,

I am scared of criticism.

I said ittt.

I don’t know how to explain this,
but since my school days, I hated being criticised by my teachers,
well, that’s everyone’s story, but as I grew up I was not good at taking criticism.

During my graduation days i never took advice,
I was adamant that what i did was right, until I felt something is going downhill.

and when life happens,

Something bitter occurs, I feel I should’ve done it the other way or the way someone suggested me.

Over the time
It made me realise,
criticism is not something which says “ hey, you’re shit at this “
it is just a form of correction - “ try this instead of that”.

and right now, when in middle of building my life,
the only thing I need is criticism,
now whenever I submit my work,
I add a line that says
“please criticise me, correct me wherever I go wrong “
(in a professional way, of course)

but the point is am not afraid of criticisms anymore,
I need it for improving myself,

I f*ckin hate being inconsistent,
so now i challenge myself
to post for next 30 days.

I can give plenty of reasons for not doing my work,
and how busy i was,
but i don’t wanna defend myself.

Life gets in the middle,
but I should not take a step back like I was doing till now.

I thought if I do something it should be perfect,
I was chasing perfectionism, and in the end I did nothing.
and obviously this teaches me,
I should do the work(write) no matter what,
whether it is perfect or not that I’ll learn from the process.

If I don’t do the process itself then where am I gonna learn?
So now I have decided to post for next 30 days,

Amidst all the brain fog, time schedules, and self doubts,
I know am taking an unusual amount of time to make my name,
but one thing is for sure I’ll keep on doing it.

When I see all the big names and even my close ones,
they have struggled a lot and that makes me feel tiny.
Tiny because of my efforts and dedication.

Been deep-diving the fitness industry lately.
The gap I found is huge.
I've been studying the online health and fitness space, 
and I see a massive opportunity for brands that offer personalized experiences.

The industry is projected to reach nearly **$60 billion by 2030** (Grand View Research), 

where demand isn’t the problem, 

According to Epsilon research, 80% of consumers are more likely to buy from brands that offer personalized experiences.
Yet most of the coaches still put out generic advice, 

- Hit 10k steps
- Hit your protein intake goals
- stay consistent

sure these are pieces of advice that should be given, but people are demanding more personalised advice. 

If founders and coaches understand this need and plug their efforts into creating more personalized content, 

They can directly reach:

- stressed founders
- Shift workers
- Executives running on 5 hrs of sleep
- women at specific life stages

When you guide on a personal level for example:

- You travel often → so your plan works in hotel gyms.
- You overeat after stressful days → so we build a stress exit routine.

It's easier to follow and actually paying attention. 

What's stopping more coaches from going deeper than generic advice?

Certified coaches study for years.
A TikToker explained treadmill walking for 60 seconds.
Guess who people trust more?

The 12-3-30 treadmill workout went viral and made random TikTokers more trusted than certified coaches.

A random woman on TikTok built a fitness empire around walking on a treadmill.

No certification
No coaching degree
No fancy equipment
No complex programming
Just a simple, repeatable idea explained in plain English

Meanwhile, certified coaches are writing captions that sound like textbooks:
"Optimize your cardiovascular efficiency through progressive overload protocols while maintaining target heart rate zones..."

Who do you think people connect with more?

The numbers don't lie:
12-3-30 hashtag: 500+ million views
Average fitness coach post: 200 views

Here's what she did right:

-Made it memorable (12-3-30)
-Made it repeatable (anyone can do it)
-Made it accessible (no gym intimidation)
-Made it relatable (she looked like her audience)

Your expertise is useless if it's wrapped in jargon,
Your degrees don't matter if nobody gets what you're saying.

People want results they can see, not research they can't follow.

The lesson isn't "dumb it down."
It's "make it human."

What's one fitness concept you could explain like you're talking to your neighbor?

If your goal is to get Leads from Linkedin, you need to 
serve a particular niche,
with a particular information. 

why? 

Being generalist may feel good, 
You can talk about nutrition today,
about mental health tomorrow, 
about mindset the day after.

But here’s the problem:
It serves no one.

When you speak to everyone,
no one feels like you’re speaking to them.

If you want to be a thought leader, 
then yes, you’ve got your rights to express your opinion on anything.

But if your goal is to do business here 
you should be specific about your words, 

- one clear audience
- one clear goal
- one clear content

You should become the most obvious person with whom they can trust.

It's also much easier for you to research and produce content, 
cause it’s not ocean or river, 
you are just dealing with a glass of water,
and now it’s in your hand how you shape that glass. 

-Pick a niche.
-Solve a specific problem.
-Talk about it repeatedly.

Here’s the 4 step method to find your 
Ideal Client Profile ( ICP) 
Starting with 

- Look at who asks you questions
Who interacts with you the most 
Check your DMs, comments, and emails.

- Identify the problem you solve best
What you think you're good at, 
or the problem you can solve clearly.

- Find who actually pays

Posting daily sounds good, 
until your quality takes a hit, 
and your authority drops down. 

Unitl there’s a team sitting in your backend and you got millions of followers, 
without a plan and without a content system, 
quality of your posts really go down. 

It’s just like running like a blind horse, 
you got speed, 
you are running, 
you are not giving up,
now the question hits - where are you heading ?

if you don’t have a clear goal regarding your content, 
it will be considered as waste. 

if my goal was to get more impressions, 
or to get more reactions,
or divert the readers to other platforms,
every goal has a seperate form of writing, 
one can’t expect to post anything and get everything. 

here my goal is to post for 30 days, 
17 more to go, 
I will write whatever I feel, 
whether it is being educational, 
personal, 
any random BS. 

If i post something which is useful, 
am sure it will perform better,
but i just can’t spam that right on,
I don’t mind getting 0 likes for something I really want to write, 
even if it is a BS. 

Monday is wildin

Einstein was right about one thing.
"If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough."
I see this everywhere:

- Fitness coaches using terms like "progressive overload adaptation"
- Business consultants talking about "synergistic optimization frameworks"
- Marketing experts explaining "omnichannel attribution modeling"

mann i don’t understand or am i really that dumb 

Anyways the point is i won’t read past these jargonish words. 
But if you wanna make a content and make people read it 
Use this framework that I use for every explanation:

Line 1- State the problem:
What specific challenge are you solving?
Make it relatable and immediate.

Line 2 - Why it matters:
What happens if this problem stays unsolved?
Show the cost of what they are missing. 

Line 3 - The solution:
Your core concept in simple sentence,
try to keep it human - no book language. 

Line 4 - How it works:
The mechanism or process behind your solution.
Think step-by-step basics.

Line 5 - What changes:
The outcome or transformation they'll see.
Be specific about results.

Line 6 - Next step:
What should they do right now?
One clear, actionable move- CTA

Example: 

Line 1: Most people quit fitness plans after 2 weeks.
Line 2: Because they set unrealistic expectations and burn out.
Line 3: Start with 10 minutes daily instead of 60-minute workouts.
Line 4: Build the habit first, then increase intensity later.
Line 5: You'll actually stick to it for months, not days.
Line 6: Pick one 10-minute activity to do this week.


This mainly works because, 
It forces you to cut the fluff and make it as short as possible, 
which makes complex ideas much easier to understand, 
Hence people are hooked till end to take the action. 

Your audience doesn't need to know everything you know.
They need to understand enough to take action.

Einstein never had to explain E=mc² in a LinkedIn post.
Lucky him.

The other day I was riding the metro and overheard someone say:
"Everyone's an influencer these days. No one wants to work hard anymore."

That made me think, 

is creating content not hard? 

I mean sure, it’s not manual labour or digging ditches for construction, 

But there are creators who work hard, 

- Research their topics for hours
- Write, rewrite, then rewrite again
- Study what their audience actually needs
- Deal with constant criticism
- Stay consistent when no one's watching

and the list goes on…,
but this rant is not about any one job field being criticised or defended, 

this is about them who make other people think being influencer is easy. 

The ones who:

- Repost motivational quotes all day
- Buy followers instead of earning them
- Sell courses they've never tested
- Give advice they've never followed

Influencing someone for real takes a real effort, 
building trust with thousands of people - not easy

I see the misconception here is thinking that because you can't see the work, it doesn't exist.

Most people see the polished video.
They don't see the 3am writing sessions, the research, the strategy, the rejected drafts, shooting struggles. 

Good creators work harder than people think.
Bad creators work less than people realize.

Every generation has had people who work with their minds instead of their hands.
Writers, teachers, speakers, thinkers.
Content creators are just part of the evolution.

What misconception about your work annoys you the most?

Fitness coaches are losing clients to GLP-1 drugs (Ozempic, Wegovy) and don't know how to respond.
Here's the reality: Fighting this trend is like fighting the tide.

The smart move? Adapt your positioning.

What GLP-1 drugs do:
- Suppress appetite effectively
- Reduce weight quickly
- Handle the "eating less" challenge

What they don't do:
- Build muscle mass
- Create lasting habits
- Improve strength and energy
- Address emotional eating patterns

The adaptation playbook:

Stop saying:"Lose 20 pounds in 12 weeks"
Start saying:"Build lean muscle while you lose fat"

Pivot your services,
For clients on GLP-1:
- Focus on resistance training to prevent muscle loss
- Habit coaching beyond food
- Energy and strength optimization

For clients considering GLP-1:
- Position as the "before and during" coach
- Help them prepare for the journey
- Ensure they maintain results

For clients who can't access GLP-1:
- Natural appetite management strategies
- Sustainable lifestyle changes
- Long-term habit formation

Your new positioning will be, 
"I help people build the muscle, strength, and habits that drugs simply can't provide.”

Look, the industry is changing whether we like it or not.
Some coaches will ignore this and wonder why clients disappear.
Others will adapt and stay busy.

Format 1: YouTube podcast 
The longest format where the full story and thinking are discussed in detail.

Format 2: Article/ newsletter 
He discusses about the history of the product,
and gives a small description about it. 

Format 3: LinkedIn post
Shortest of all formats, it presents takeaways/lessons. 

Notice how each format is different from one another 
yet the topic is same? 
That’s a well repurposed content.

Health coaches got the best play card for LinkedIn 
yet they're using it terribly,
and that card is:

Stories

Personal brand in today’s day and time needs content,
content which connects with the audience, 
and stories are the best way to connect anyone,
especially with LinkedIn being a text-heavy platform.

Stories are of two types:

- Personal story
- client story

If we dive into the angles of stories, 
which I could write about in a whole newsletter (should i write? comment). 

- Personal story

This creates a connection with the audience, 
because the journey of the creator feels empowering and emotional,
which helps the audience relate.

- client story/ testimonial

This creates a trust factor with the audience,
we see the before/after photos, review of the client for the business, 
which makes the audience trust the business before buying.

And when I say health coaches got the best play card
that’s because, 
the amount of stories I have been reading, 
transformations, success, clarity, etc… 

These all are from this one industry - Health

But 1 thing is off 
storytelling and presentation. 

When I looked up for all these testimonials and stories,
I could only find them hidden deep in their website. 

Of course I don’t expect “top of the line marketing” 
from people who are busy changing lives, 

but what is their marketing team doing? 
Instead of generating posts with AI
can they please share these stories, 
I am 100% sure their audience will love it.

I FORGOT what I was about to say
I noted this idea down while I was walking last evening, 
and when I opened my notes today, I was blank.

I know there are N number of posts on this particular idea, 
but I swear it was something different, 
because whenever i note down something, it is based on my observation.

and if you ever write the same old topic from your perspective and from your observation, it is 100% unique from others. 

considering the same I noted down this idea, last evening, 
and now when I wanted to write about it, my brain said bye-bye. 

I tried to remember it, 
ran a whole diagnostics of my brain, 
still couldn't find that single piece of information. 😶

What do I bring to the table when I write something here?

Cause I guess LinkedIn has a hidden rule,
That is - you should find value of anything you are doing and post "here's what I learned." 

Well…

I bring none today, 
I'm not the kind of person who finds value out of anything and tries to milk it. 

I know my audience, 
And I know my ICP. 

And am damn sure that, they don't expect,
“here’s what I learned about writing from my boys' trip “ 

Which had no absolute relation with writing or anything.
They know I don't fake things just for the sake of authority.

Cheers to the trip that went well, 
With good food, absolute chaos and bad network.

If you are also on a posting streak, respect. We survive together.

I found two identical fitness coaches yesterday,
checked both their bios,
found one detail that changed their pricing.

Coach A ($150/month):
"Helping you build a sustainable lifestyle." 

Coach B ($800/month):
"I help burned-out executives lose 25+ pounds in 90 days without giving up business dinners or weekend family time."

Coach A is unclear about his ICP, which affects his positioning and end goals, 
whereas 
Coach B is clear 
- Who she works with (executives)
- What happens (lose 25+ pounds)
- When it happens (90 days)
- Why it's different (keeps your lifestyle intact)

Here's what positioning does:
-Creates Specific timeline 
 90-day timeline vs "sustainable lifestyle"

-Promises transformation 
 25 pounds vs "achieve goals"

-Knows their client 
 executives vs "everyone"

-Addresses specific concerns 
 business dinners vs generic obstacles

Common positioning mistakes I see.
- Using industry jargon instead of customer language
- Promising outcomes without timelines
- Avoiding specificity because you think it limits you (it doesn't)
- Copying competitor language instead of owning your approach

But here's the reality:
When your consumer/client knows what they are getting, 
they are much more likely to invest in it. 

The formula is simple,
I help [specific person] achieve [specific result] in [specific timeframe] without [their biggest fear/obstacle].

How are top creators so consistent with their content?
Do they think of new idea every day? 
NO and here’s why

See there are creators out there who post original content, 
but the percentage is just 5-10%
rest of them use a smart way to publish content, 
they extract more from one single idea. 

1 Blog Article → 2 newsletters → 5 Linkedin posts → 10 substack notes. 

All this from one single idea. 

And no, they are not lazy, 
they are repeating it strategically 

One post might be a personal story,
Another might be a framework,
or a promotional stuff for their affiliate.

It’s just different ways of telling one single idea. 

The psychology behind this is simple:

Repetition creates recognition,
Recognition creates trust,
Trust creates growth. '
(everything is connected you see)

They are not just repeating one idea again and again,
they are repeating it differently. 

Consistency doesn’t come from endless ideas.
It comes from depth.

Now i am gonna use this framework 
by taking one topic 

i.e., “content repurposing”

Go deep.
stretch it.

Turn it into multiple formats.
and prove that if the idea has value,
it can feed your content for weeks,
as long as the content delivers value, 
it is not washed out.

LinkedIn shows you more of what you engage with.

If you:

- like generic posts
- comment “great insight”
- react to obvious AI fluff

you're training the algorithm to show you more.

2- Use “Not Interested” aggressively

Most people don’t use this.

When you see:

- mass produced carousels
- fake storytelling
- obvious template writing

Click the three dots.

Mark not interested.

3- Follow thinkers, not growth hackers

Follow people who:

- share real experiences
- talk about failures
- write imperfect but human posts

Unfollow:

- hook merchants
- template factories
- viral content farms

4- Comment where depth exists

The algorithm notices where you spend time,

Comment on:

- Real stories
- long form thinking
- real case studies

This signals your preference.
