— Most B2B sales playbooks were built ~10 years ago.
— Some of the old go-to-market strategies don’t work anymore, or are far less effective.
— New tactics have become more sophisticated, more technical, and if you don’t care enough to adapt, your competition will.
— It’s harder “to figure it out.”

The good ✅

— Technology is cheaper and more customizable than ever before.
—AI can now do the job of a person for 1% of the cost in certain activities.
—You can literally fill a calendar with meetings automatically, if you’re good at it.
—Information and expert tips are free and abundant.

We just need to embrace the change.

In 2026+, I see 2 paths B2B companies choose to grow with active sales:
1. Old playbook: 10 sales reps, 100 tasks each.
2. New playbook: AI does 99 tasks. Human does the 1 that matters.

I am opening LinkedIn after a 2-week break from social media & agency client work to share 1 of the biggest mistakes I've made in 2025.

Holidays' quiet time helped me see a hard truth.

I am a systems guy.
I feel good when robots work while I sleep.
I love collecting results at the end of the day.
Then I want to optimize and run it again.

That is why I build sales automation systems.
That is why I built a lean, system-first agency.

🧠 My thinking was like:

- A repeat task → I must automate
- Not scalable → wrong process
- No predictable system → anxiety up

In 2025, this mindset went too far.

I was robotic in business and life. 
I wasted time on systemizing the wrong things.
And I forgot key human pieces:

✅ Relationships
No relationship with client = no trust = no success.
Great business service with low trust still fails.

✅ Human account management
You cannot run a project only with templated emails.
Emails don't show the urgency. Clients feel when no one “holds” the project.

✅Not scalable activity
A system without human energy is cold.
You still need calls, Looms, real talk, real care.

That's why, for 2026 and beyond, I believe B2B companies need scalable AI systems AND human execution to win. Whether it's sales, customer experience, or any other human-facing role.

Now, I am starting my workday here in Spain with clarity, energy, and a vision to move fewer companies with a bigger impact and world-class service.

👉How do you keep a balance between automation and real human work in your business?

I strongly believe that AI is replacing salespeople who are doing robotic work.

You see, if sales is doing anything other than talking to clients/prospects, then it’s a good sign that AI / tools can help your team cut down the fat.

For B2B, most repetetive tasks are often:

—Finding businesses & information about them online
—Qualifying leads
—Finding decision-maker contacts
—Filling spreadsheets and CRMs
—Taking meeting notes
—Sending LinkedIn connection requests and messages
—Sending a cold email / WhatsApp message
—Tracking KPIs
—Prefilling / sending follow-up emails

And that's exactly what I help companies with.

Now here are the things AI won’t replace — and will become more critical:

—Cold calling
—Negotiations
—Running sales meetings
—Being a great communicator
—Quality conversations (Challenging prospects, making sense, showing empa𝘁hy)

Or as Gen Z would put it -

If you manage a team of "bots" then AI might take over the business.

There are 4 levels of CEOs & Head of Sales in 2026+

Level 1 - you get clients by doing everything yourself
Level 2 - you hire a human "bot" that will do things
Level 3 - you hire 1000s of AI "bots" (by hiring "GTM engineer"in B2B)
Level 4 - AI just grows your entire business automatically. 

(Okay, maybe the last one was made up by my fantasy)

But watch out for it. One day perhaps you could get a SaaS subscription that will build you a mini business or a mini department.

Naval Ravikant puts it well - "Robots are replacing all the people doing robotic jobs."

Most businesses I talk to see AI as a “60‑day test project”.
While the winning organizations know AI is here to stay. They treat it as a 10‑year growth opportunity.

Since for the last few years I;ve been working with B2B sales & marketing teams I noticed how most companies get stuck between 2 choices today:

1) Buy the next shiny AI tool and hope it “fixes” sales overnight. 
2) Keep relying on hiring people to “grow” after 1st fail with AI. 

Both will fail to stay competitive in 2026+ for the same reason.

They treat growth as a task, not a system that competes in the market every day.

The new way of B2B growth looks very different:

1. AI systems automate boring, repetitive work
2. Humans focus on trust, conversations, +2x more effectively
3. Go‑to‑market experts or “GTM engineers” design the strategy and system

This is not a short-term project.
The hard part is not buying AI agents.
The hard part is combining these 3 parts into 1 system suiting you. 

A successful AI implementation needs to adapt to your company's:
- workflows
- resources
- tone of voice
- goals.

It does not happen in 2 months.
You might break things. 
Some ideas will fail.
There might be delays.

Despite all of that, there will be teams that push through these obstacles to:

• Develop a leaner growth system that makes profits
• Maintain a sales engine that scales trust, not spam
• Keep winning for the next generation

Everyone asks me about my 2026 resolutions. 
I have just one word: Kanpe.
In Haitian Kreyòl, it means “to stand up” and "to rise".

But for us, it means so much more.

It’s the quiet power of resilience.
It’s standing tall in the face of hardship.
It’s dancing when the world wants to break you.

For me, 2025 wasn’t just about building a business.

 It was about standing up:
To the fear.
To the noise.
To the voices inside and outside that wanted me small.

2024 was a year of Performance. 
Healing. 
and Rest. 
Stepping onto global stages in Europe and Africa.
talking growth, AI, and careers.

But 2025?
It was heads-down.
Stepping fully into my purpose.
Coaching women, mentoring minorities, guiding those looking for their voice. Looking to build their brand authority.
Owning mine alongside them.

Oftentimes, it looked like working from home in my PJs, 
toddler on hip,
or relocating twice in a year searching of my dream community. 
Finding my vibe. 
And quietly walking away from places, people, 
and relationships that no longer served me. 

No matter how loud their stories were.
No matter what masks they were wearing this time. 

My ancestors fought for freedom.
And in my own way, 
so did I.

I stood up to the forces,
internal and external 
that tried to dim my light.
And I chose to carry it anyway.
So no, I don’t have a long list of resolutions.

In 2026, I’ll be dancing in the light. 
Every. Single. Day.
Grateful for making it another day.

The best time to ask for a raise 
isn't at your annual review. 
It’s 48 hours after you made your boss look good to their boss.

 That’s the small window when you’re TOP OF MIND for them.  

This window of time is important, 
and as my kiddo says:
 It's "tiny tiny". 

This win is the "tiny tiny" window for you to ask for more.
...and the more you keep stacking these wins,  the more you can build your case for more...

Because in reality:
Your promotion might be delayed.  
But your raise doesn't have to be.

40% of companies now offer promotions without pay increases. 👀 
Which means you can negotiate a raise without the title.

Most professionals wait for their manager to bring it up.

The Top 5% creates the conditions that make "yes" inevitable.

Here are 6 simple ways to do it:

1/ Build your case 90 days early

Average: Asking during annual review with no prep
Top 5%: Tracking impact for 3 months before the ask

Document:
→ Revenue driven or protected
→ Costs reduced
→ Time saved
→ Problems solved outside your job description

"I improved morale" = nothing.
"I cut turnover by 40%, saving $180K in recruiting costs" = leverage.

2/ Time it right

Ask after:
→ A major win
→ You made your boss look good to their boss
→ Strong company earnings
→ During off-cycle reviews (62% of orgs now offer these)

Never ask during budget freezes or layoff rumors.

3/ Reframe it as market correction

Don't say: "I think I deserve more."
Say: "I'd like to discuss a market adjustment. My compensation doesn't reflect the level I'm delivering at."

You're not asking for a favor.
You're correcting a gap.

4/ Name the expanded scope

Your role grew. Your pay didn't.
Script: "When I started, I handled X. 
Now I'm doing X, Y, and Z. I want my comp to match the scope I'm already delivering."

This isn't "give me more for the same work."
This is "pay me fairly for the work that already changed."

5/ Give them a timeline

If budget is tight:

"I understand timing might be challenging. Can we set a date in 60 days to revisit? I'd like to know what I need to hit to make this happen."
Keeps it alive without the fight.

6/ Negotiate beyond base salary

Salary frozen?

Comp isn't just your base number. Ask for:
→ Professional development budget
→ Flex work arrangements
→ Performance bonus
→ Stock options
→ Extra PTO

Your promotion might take 18 months.
BUT your comp conversation can happen in 18 days.

If you wait for your company to value you, you'll be waiting a long time. Think about a 5 year old who says - impatiently: "Are we there yet?" It's all encompassing, all demanding and unmissable...  That's the energy you will need to stay top of mind and become unmissable.
