I managed a 27-person team split across 2 regions responsible for the post sales operations of the territory which generated over $37MM in revenue.  Responsible for ensuring all phases of the post sales process remained inside established cost management and profitability metrics.  Responsible for all phases of customer success including installation and problem resolution. 

●	Ensured all installation scheduling resulted in no less than 3% unused capacity resulting in capturing the full $37MM in revenue
●	Managed post installation service procedures ensuring all standards were consistently upheld 
●	Developed and implemented in house permitting and HOA management position reducing overall cost of these processes from $130k to $55K annually saving 57%
●	Coordinated with corporate manufacturing and logistics ensuring a 97% on time arrival of installation materials
●	Established preferred local vendors allowing the negotiation for no delivery fees saving $4K annually

I managed a staff of 35 to oversee operations for 2 reserve companies of over 300 Marines.  This was a staff of Marines from across different occupational fields designed to support the reserve element in the planning and execution of their annual training requirements.

●	Ensured over 500 pieces of communications equipment valued at $1.5 MM maintained a readiness rate above 90% allowing it to be used for training exercises
●	Coordinated over 1130 events within the local community providing support to local and state organizations
●	Managed personnel assignments and maintenance of the facilities located in Baltimore ensuring complete security coverage and functionality for 365 days a year 
●	Wrote and implemented local policy and procedure to support the guidance provided by senior level supervisors

Director of Operations (Company Gunnery Sergeant)

I directed 5 teams specializing in different types of communications totaling over 109 Marines to provide mission essential support to a Marine Artillery Regiment.

●	Coordinated with civilian contractors to facilitate the transportation of over $12MM worth of communications equipment around the islands of Japan
●	Worked with Japanese counterparts, ensuring 100% compliance with international regulations 
●	Assisted Oracle talent in the development of course work to train over 3900 Marines in new maintenance program
●	Ensured all Marines in Communications were within standards for all established training requirements 
●	Ensured all Marines and equipment in Communications maintained a deployment readiness of more than 85% allowing for an 8-hour response time to orders

Owner of BlackRifle Co, which has nothing to do with coffee, and everything to do with using data intelligence and digital media to generate strong ROIs for our clients, while philanthropically using our device level, OSINT and observed behavioral data to assist in conflict evacuation efforts, fighting human trafficking, and locating missing people.

Founder of Flanders Fields, which is an entirely volunteer run organization that takes once struggling vets, makes them whole, and helps them find purpose through taking part in world changing missions to help anyone we are able to.  We go into the worst places in America and abroad to bring a light into the darkness, freedom to the oppressed, hope to the hopeless, and safety to the terrified.

Eleven years ago, a 1/9 Marine Vietnam veteran named Smokey drove me to court. I still had a crack pipe in my pocket from the night before. He’d been letting me crash at a trap house on Shady Lane where my blood was on the floor and my future looked like a coffin.

Smokey saved my life more times than I can count. Fed me when I was starving. Intervened when violence came looking for me. Made sure my wife was safe. And in 2019, when I went missing in the depths of my addiction, he’s the one who got word to my parents that I was alive.

The 1/9 Marines were called “The Walking Dead” because of their casualty rates in Vietnam. That Smokey made it home at all was a miracle. But part of him stayed in that jungle. He spent the next 50 years fighting that war in his mind - on the streets, in addiction, in survival mode.

When Jess and I got clean and came back to Memphis in 2021, finding Smokey was the mission. 

We were told he was dead. Then that he was missing. We found him - still fighting, still using, not ready for help. 

But we kept coming back.

Eventually legal trouble brought an opportunity: Veterans Court. The same program that wouldn’t take me because of my gun charges. But Smokey? Combat veteran. He deserved every chance.

Today, I watched my brother graduate.

Black and old. White and young. Combat Marine. Barely a veteran. None of that mattered in that parking lot on Melrose in 2014 when he picked me up. And it didn’t matter today when he walked across that stage in a cap and gown.

The streets don’t care about your demographics or your service record or where you fit in someone’s political narrative. When the consequences are real - when lives hang in the balance - all that ideological tribalism collapses into what actually matters: one human being showing up for another.

Smokey showed up for me when I was a junkie with felony warrants and nowhere to go. We showed up when we came home. The Veterans Court showed up. The community showed up.
That’s redemption. That’s what happens when we stop performing our politics and start living our humanity.

From the trap house on Melrose to a graduation ceremony. From the Walking Dead to walking free. From brothers in the trenches to brothers in recovery.

This is why we came back. This is why we fight monsters. This is why we bought the houses where our blood was on the floor and turned them into hope houses. Because Smokey isn’t the only one still out there.

When you’re bleeding out, nobody asks your voter registration.

For everyone asking what our work is really about - this. One life. One veteran who served his country and deserved better than 50 years in the wilderness. One promise kept. One more person who gets to live the rest of their story instead of dying in their addiction.

We fight monsters because Smokey fought for me. Simple as that.

That’s the thesis. That’s Politically Homeless. The streets proved it today.

STAY WARM (POWER OR NO POWER)
	•	Layer like you’re outside. Hat. Socks. Two layers minimum. You lose heat through your head faster than you think.
	•	Pick one room to live in. Close doors. Hang blankets over doorways. Shrink the space you’re heating.
	•	Water = heat storage. Fill bathtubs, sinks, bottles. Hot water in sealed containers becomes a temporary heater.
	•	Never run grills or generators indoors. CO poisoning kills fast and quietly.
	•	Charge everything now. Phones. Battery packs. Headlamps. Radios.
	•	Know where your shutoff is. If pipes freeze, shutting water early can save your house.

LOOK OUT FOR OTHERS

This is where it matters.
	•	Check on the elderly. Not a text. A knock. Especially anyone who lives alone.
	•	Single moms, addicts in recovery, unhoused folks - they are at real risk in this.
	•	Share heat. One warm house with ten people beats ten freezing houses.
	•	Boil water for neighbors if they lose power.
	•	Let people shelter in your living room. Pride kills faster than cold.
