Three plus decades of experience have taken me across engineering, military services, and specialized operations where discretion and precision were the only currencies. For much of that time, I served as a Tier-1 special operations contractor, providing global support to leading government agencies through Special Services Global and Beta Epsilon. The work was unseen, yet always decisive.

Today, I channel that experience into Covert Kinetics, where I serve as Global Operations Director. The business is a continuation of years spent delivering discreet support on complex assignments, now applied to investigative services and specialized project operations for clients across borders and industries.

Currently working as Process Engineer at Rain Carbon Canada Inc. (a Coal Tar Distillation Facility Based in Hamilton, ON). Brief description of responsibilities includes following, but not limited to:
•	Perform daily monitoring of process units and provide recommendations for process set point changes to maintain product quality specifications.
•	Develop and sustain technical operating envelopes used for daily process and equipment monitoring.
•	Steward production, recovery, yield, operating risks, and restrictions
•	Evaluate chemical process technology and equipment and determine production performances.
•	Ensure process designs minimize hazards, achieve the desired intent, minimize costs, and adhere to relevant internal and external industry standards.
•	Facilitate risk assessments, participate in HAZOP’s.
•	Provide turnaround and maintenance support including process inspections, process studies and evaluations from inspection findings and pre-startup safety reviews.
•	Independently plan and conduct projects to improve efficiency; determine engineering scopes and test plans as required.
•	Conduct economic and technical feasibility studies for new projects and act as a technical interface for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). Scoping studies and oversee EPC’s Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and scope change for area projects.
•	Mentor junior engineers and support them in their development.

Process Engineer

Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company (Safco)

Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company (now SABIC Agri-Nutrients) is affiliate of SABIC Petrochemicals, Saudi Arabia. Worked as Process Engineer for Ammonia Plants.
Main responsibilities for assigned operating units are described below. 
•	Promoting, supporting, and adhering to SAFCO Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management system and to ensure that HSE issues are given priority consideration in all activities.
•	Collaborate with members of the Operations Support and Optimization team (OSO) to provide engineering assistance to plant and field operations including troubleshooting, conducting field tests, developing reports, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency or productivity.
•	Develop and/or provide technical assurance reviews of PFD’s, P&ID’s, Heat & Mass Balances, and other project related documents for Minor Modifications Projects (MMP) and Capital Projects.
•	Perform/review project pre-feed studies, develop process configurations and support cost estimates.
•	Development of Scope of Work and Basis of Design documents for projects through networking amongst all functions in support of a future-proof Basis of Design.
•	Provide technical mentoring of junior staff and contractors within the process engineering group and greater peer group within the SAFCO Business Unit (e.g., Operations, Development, etc.).
•	Provide process input in the development of operation, maintenance, and start-up philosophies for new projects.
•	Collaborate on Facility Siting Studies, HAZOP, LOPA and SIL reviews.
•	Coordinate with subject matter experts (i.e., water specialists, Syn. Gas & Ammonia Technology specialists, heat transfer specialists, vendors, etc.) to arrive at optimum solutions for technical issues.
•	Ensure SAFCO Engineering & Safety Standards are adhered to in projects and operations.
•	Ensure project and operational compliance with governing codes and key recommended practices.

Process Engineer Ammonia

Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited

Worked as Process Engineer for 1500 MTPD Ammonia Plant, responsibilities included:
•	Provide technical support for the Fatima Fertilizer Operations in a way that supports the Vision, Mission and Values of Fatima Fertilizer plant and Fatima group.
•	Work directly with the Process Engineering Team, Operations, Maintenance and Project Departments to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable unit performance and make decisions and suggestions to address problem areas and improve overall plant performance.
•	Make recommendations and be involved with important decision making on technical aspects of management of change (MOC) projects, put together concepts of implementation and cost estimates.
•	Support maintenance of Process Safety Information (PSI), including P&IDs and PFDs.
•	Support the Process Hazard Analysis program, Operational Risk Management, Quantitative Risk Assessment, Safety Integrity Level Determination, etc. as & when required.
•	Support PHA corrective action closure and follow-up (including process changes, procedure updates, MOCs and design studies as required).
•	Utilize process simulation software to solve production unit performance challenges and justify improvements.
•	Work in compliance with all Fatima Fertilizer personnel Safety & Process Safety standards.
•	Provide leadership, engineering support, and ownership in responsibility to assess and mitigate operational risks during plant Start-up/shutdown as well as during annual turnarounds.
•	Provide technical support for capital projects for short- and long-term equipment improvement and replacement needs for equipment reliability, safety, and environmental performance.
•	Prepare monthly production & consumptions data for financial reporting by business department.
•	Mentor junior process engineers for their development & professional growth.
