The Global Tech Experience

In the past eight weeks, I have created a Shopify e-store for the fictional company NÖZ. In this journey, I have learned and implemented the following:

- Customer First Marketing with Empathy mapping and customer personas
-Designing a webpage based on Brand Guidelines to fit the customer personas studied above
-Use the Brand Guidelines to write an about section, value proposition, blog, and product descriptions
- Use SEO to conduct Keyword Research to better craft Meta titles and Meta descriptions for each page on the website. This also included Alt Text for each image used.
-Conducted A/B testing to optimize the landing page and conversion rates with an on-brand hero image and a bright contrasting CTA button.
-Leveraged promotions and offers to promote the NÖZ brand and set up emails for abandoned carts and a purchase summary

Serendipity Catering

At Serendipity Catering, we believe the core of a seamless event is the heart of the team leading the way. Our passion for the event and attention to detail throughout this is carried out. 
I assist in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, warehouse, and customer relations side of Serendipity Catering. In addition, assist in the base kitchen with preparation for various events. I also meet with sales managers to go over details of the events. Lastly, overseeing the operation of the front and back of the house during on-site and off-site events.

I oversaw the preparation and delivery of all food and beverage during events. I organized start time and plating based on event timeline and number of staff. I lead the placing and crafting of each guest's two to three-course meal.

I provided customer service to guests at a wide variety of events, including weddings, special occasion parties, and corporate gatherings. 
During the event, I was given leadership over sections of the floor to keep track of guests and their needs from their arrival to departure.

Assist in the setup and clean-up of the venue during events and be the point of contact for the venue for all vendors and guests at the end of the event. Work during the week to keep the grounds manicured and clean for the events over the weekend.

Over the past 6 years, I have seen all sides of the wedding, restaurant, and merchandise industry . I have worked on the floor and in the kitchen, leading teams to a successful event. 
I have also spent time in the restaurant side of the food and beverage industry as a floor manager. During that time, I assisted in overseeing the daily operation of front of house and back of the house food production. In addition, I have worked in the wedding industry as a venue assistant during events as a point of contact for wedding coordinators, caterers, and other vendors during and at the end of events.

In more recent times, I have worked various customer facing jobs in retail in very niche markets (MiLB and Musicals). This time in the customer service industry has developed a passion for creating the worth of those I serve and value for those I work for and with while doing it.
