It’s funny how the smallest moments stick with you. Like, sitting in that cramped office, late at night, trying to figure out why our retention was dropping. I remember feeling that tightness in my chest, like I was missing something obvious. Turns out, I was. Or maybe I wasn’t. It’s hard to tell sometimes.

Transitioning from medicine to this world of DTC - where every day feels like a puzzle - has been a strange ride. You think you understand the mechanics, but then a tiny detail, a small shift in customer behavior, throws everything off.

And I admit, I’ve been guilty of overcomplicating things. Thinking I need to crack some secret code to grow. But maybe it’s just about the basics - trust, consistency, listening.

Like that morning, when I realized our best customers weren’t just buying once - they kept coming back. Not because of some fancy campaign, but because we showed up for them. Every time.

It’s a slow process, isn’t it? Building that trust. And yet, I still catch myself rushing, trying to accelerate what can’t be rushed.

Sometimes I wonder if I’m just fooling myself, or if this is what real growth feels like - small, steady, almost invisible.

And then I think about that one customer who messaged us, just to say thanks. That’s the real win, isn’t it?

Or maybe I’m just chasing that feeling, that quiet assurance that we’re doing something right. Even if it’s just a little at a time.
