Signed up for 100+ SaaS products in the last 6 months. These are the 8 best examples of AI onboarding I’ve seen this year. Not hype, real AI used to onboard users in seconds.

Took a few hours to put the onboarding flows on a Figma board, with some notes covering exactly how these companies use AI to get users to value faster.

Here’s how they are using AI to cut time-to-value down to seconds 👇

1. Relay.app (Context > Content) 
Instead of asking 20 questions, Relay asks for your LinkedIn URL. The AI scans your profile and auto-configures your agents and workspace instantly.

2. Gamma (Execution > Guidance) 
Gamma doesn't teach you how to use the editor. It asks for a topic and generates a full slide deck for you in seconds. No more relying on "empty states."

3. Figma (Just-in-Time Education) 
Figma analyzes your behavior in the canvas. If you get stuck or pause too long, the AI suggests the specific plugin or feature you need right in that moment.

4. Zapier (Outcome > Templates) 
Templates have taken a back seat. Now, a Copilot ingests your desired outcome and builds the workflow for you. It uses your initial app selections to predict exactly which prompts you need first.

5. Notion (Conversational Setup) 
They replaced the static "welcome wizard" with an active AI chat. It uses natural language to configure your workspace behind the scenes.

6. Miro (Zero-Click Canvas) 
The first screen is a chatbot asking, "What are we working on?". It builds the board structure for you before you even learn the UI.

7. n8n (Teaching by Showing) 
The "Try an AI Workflow" option demonstrates a working example first, teaching you how to interact with the agent while giving you a feeling of immediate progress.

8. Instantly.ai (Embedded Support) 
While the main tour is traditional (tooltips), the real power is hidden inside. As you navigate, AI agents surface to handle complex setup tasks, proving you don't need to be "AI-Native" to be effective.

Onboarding is evolving.

I’ve been a little quieter over Christmas and honestly…I needed it.

A proper reset.

Messy hair mornings.
PJs far longer than socially acceptable.
Too many chocolates.
Even more laughter.

And that lovely kind of tired you only get from being with your kids all day.

It reminded me of something I forget when life is full-on:

Health is the foundation.

Family is the point.

And rest isn’t a reward… It's part of the work.

So I’m going into 2026 feeling grateful, grounded, and properly recharged.

Sometimes I forget how many new faces are here.

So it feels like a good moment to re-introduce myself.

I’m a lawyer. A founder. A mum.

And for most of my career, I’ve sat right in the middle of growth and risk.

Only realise later where the cracks were.

Not because they were reckless, but because they were busy building.

That’s always been my world.

I built Law 365 because I wanted legal to support momentum, not suffocate it. To help tech businesses, MSPs, and founders feel confident saying yes, without quietly taking on risk they didn’t see coming.

And we built Cloud Contracts 365 for the businesses who don’t have £20k a year for legal tools, but still deserve protection, clarity, and confidence.

Right now, the conversations I’m having feel different.

AI is changing how work gets done.

Decisions are happening faster, and risk is becoming quieter and harder to spot.

And a lot of people are thinking, “We should probably get ahead of this”.

⚠️ MSPs: This is one risk you don’t want to learn about the hard way.

If a client stops paying and later goes insolvent, you may still be legally required to keep supplying services and licences.

Why?

Because under the Insolvency Act, MSPs can be classed as an essential supplier.

Lately, I’ve been catching myself asking one quiet question:

What do I want to feel really solid about going into 2026?

Not louder.
Not busier.
Just clearer.

Here are five things I keep coming back to:

1. Slowing down the decisions that will matter long after the urgency has passed. Some choices feel small in the moment… and heavy later.

2. Asking the uncomfortable questions earlier. Especially around AI, data, and accountability, before they quietly become embedded.

3. Making sure policies make sense to real humans. If people don’t understand them, they don’t protect anyone.

4. Not letting “it’ll probably be fine” become the strategy. That phrase has a habit of showing up right before things unravel.

5. Leaving space to think. Not just react. Most problems I see weren’t caused by bad intent, just no pause.

The businesses that feel most confident right now aren’t doing everything.

They’re choosing what actually matters… and doing that properly.

And as 2026 starts to come into view, I keep wondering:
