Excited to be featured in Lenny Rachitsky’s “The AI-Native Product Manager” series. I’ll be teaching a free workshop on the topic “how to get buy-in as a PM.”

Of the 1,700 tech operators who have taken my course in the past 1.5 years, product managers are one of the biggest groups represented. About 1/3 of my private coaching clients are product leaders at companies like Meta, DoorDash, Atlassian, Amazon, Google, etc. I love working with product folks, and want to help you succeed because the bar for PMs is getting increasingly higher.

In this session, I’ll cover how to:

1. Present to impatient executives: Be prepared to move fast, speak directly, etc.

2. Manage up to senior leaders: Most PMs suck at managing up. We'll cover principles that will serve you now and throughout your career.

3. Anticipate questions and prevent skepticism: How to anticipate questions to avoid endless back-and-forth.

You will be able to apply these principles to stakeholders upwards, downwards, and laterally. 

The workshop will be on Friday, March 13 at 12pm ET. It will be an action-packed 30 minutes.

I’ve led large teams, and have worked with annual budgets as high as $140,000,000.

I also have a story to tell:

I’ve lost 135 lbs and have kept it off for over 20 years.

When I was a kid, I had atrial tachycardia that caused my heart to race between 200-300 bpm.

I had 2 heart surgeries to fix this. 

One at 12, when I was the first pediatric patient to receive this experimental surgery, then they repeated the surgery when I was 21.

I collapsed at work and woke up in a hospital bed.

My heart rate at a nearly dead 24 beats per minute.

The ER doctor told me he had never see a heart rate that low in a patient that was still alive.

This was due to an undiagnosed sleep apnea condition that was slowly killing me.

I received 4 surgeries in 1 to fix that, and a deviated septum that blocked 98% of my breath through my nose.

I’ve had shoulder surgery for a torn A/C Joint.

I can cure my migraines and my wife’s migraine within about 10 minutes using stretch protocols.

ADHD is now my super power through mindfulness, exercise, music, and writing.
