Over the last 15 years, I've helped commercial corporations, startups, and non-profits grow, foster new relationships, and crush their overall sales goals. 

From bringing whiteboard ideas to life to building a >$100M of new business, I've taken a very structured business development approach to growth. 

From my hands-on sales experience, working with both small and large companies, I learned a lot about what works and what doesn't. So in 2019, I started my own company. 

I believe building your business relies on a multitude of assets, both internally and externally focused. From your company differentiators to building account management plans, to strategic partnerships, to social selling, building you into a trusted advisor is where you should be. 

I've worked in marketing, business development, corporate strategy, and government affairs for several firms, including Signify (formerly Philips Lighting), Major League Rugby (MLR) franchise Old Glory DC, Royal Philips, Elbit Systems of America, Chenega Corporation and the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs within the United States Senate.

I also sit on the Board of Directors for the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) in Washington DC, a non-profit organization that collaborates with both government and private sector on national security infrastructure challenges. 

I'm an active member throughout the local rugby community, recently serving as President of the Washington Irish Rugby Football Clubs, and work with local youth rugby clubs throughout the area. Lastly, I'm also active in various organizations such as Association for United States Army (AUSA), USA Rugby, Smart Cities Group, and others. 

I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Bates College in Maine and certifications from Shipley University in business development and capture management.

Helped secure over 30 line of credit renewals and on board 20 new borrowers. Worked directly with attorneys, title companies, and insurance brokers to ensure loan closings were quick and uncomplicated.

Portfolio Manager

Analyze fourteen hundred Fraud Anti-Money Laundering Alerts (FRAML) utilizing the Bank’s FRAML monitoring software for suspicious activity. Escalate suspicious activity to SAR committee for SAR filing.
Review all daily BSA reports. Work closely with retail management to clear all CIP exceptions in a timely matter. Developed a process to ensure timely and accurate collection of Beneficial Ownership information.
Fill and file Suspicious Activity Reports with FinCEN. Write clear and concise narratives, analyze relationships for ongoing suspicious activity and develop an efficient tracking log.

Compliance Specialist

WashingtonFirst Bank

•	Created procedure and policy for handling incoming garnishments, liens, levies and subpoenas to determine appropriate responses while meeting regulatory due dates and ensuring protection of customer accounts. 
•	Served as Bank’s Custodian of Records (e.g., certifies to the court either in person or in writing the validity of the contents of member records). 
•	Created, updated and maintained a tracking system with all information regarding requests to the Bank and related fees incurred.
•	Developed a new ongoing Customer Identification Program (CIP) procedure to review all new accounts. Worked closely with retail management to clear all CIP exceptions in a timely matter. Successfully reduce number of weekly and thirty day CIP exceptions by three-hundred percent. 
•	Changed and further developed the banks CIP program to include Risk Assessments and Customer Due Diligence. Successfully received results of zero regulator and outside auditor findings for the CIP program. 
•	Created an ongoing Risk Rating program positively impacting the entire organizations performance with Regulators. The Compliance and Bank Secrecy Act department had zero findings from the Federal Reserve Bank and State regulators for the 2016-2017 fiscal year.

BSA and Compliance Analyst

Perform daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly audits with a target of score of one hundred percent. As a result of our consistent high scores we became the go to branch for all audit questions. Worked closely with the regional manager to fine tune the branch audit process for the entire Bank. 
•	Created useable Currency Transaction Report procedure for retail branches.
•	Point of contact for the branch’s $50mm portfolio.
•	Work with employees to help them determine their goals and career path. Recommend promotions and disciplinary actions.
•	Perform daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly audits with a target of score of 90%.
•	Trained and developed team of 10 in proper banking and audit procedures.

Assistant Manager

Virginia Hemophilia Foundation

Review and approve annual budget of $500k.

Provide support and direction for the executive team.

Lead board development initiatives.

Participate in fund raising activities.

Work with large Pharmaceutical companies to secure funding for 30+ events a year.

•	Sell bank’s investment, mortgage, retail loan, and business banking services. Generate leads through cold calling, networking organizations and referral sources.
