Three years experience in visitor relations as a Grant County Public Utility District Lands and Recreation crewmember; awarded for excellence in sound judgment on the job. Tasks include meeting with and informing the visiting public about recreational opportunities in the mid-Columbia River area, and to ensure the general public was using public lands properly. Additional tasks included writing recreation-related articles for local publication and providing recreation photography for company use.

Owned and operated Riverbend Cabinets with the primary focus of providing cabinet refacing and custom cabinetry at affordable rates. Tasks include working with customers to meet their goals, ordering and installing custom doors, drawers, veneers and accessories, and to custom-build one-of-a-kind kitchen and bathroom sets, as well as designing furniture to meet customer specifications.

I tell stories. Stories about people who inspire; stories about the unsung who keep communities running; stories about brands doing good things. Written word—both fiction and non-fiction features—and video are my outlets, and I can not get enough. 

In my experience, capturing the best of people boils down to a few things: having fun, joking around, joining their story fullahead, and experiencing it firsthand. Whether working as a brand spokesperson or simply as a feature writer for my local paper, I’ve been blessed with the chance to tell so many stories, and excited to tell many more.
