- Conducted ethnographic research, employing Malay and English languages, to study the patient experience at 2 Daycare Hospice branches in Singapore, focusing on terminally ill patients with an expected life span of less than one year. The research was conducted on behalf of the Lien Foundation.

- Led workshops in collaboration with operational and key management staff at HCA Hospice to co-create an enhanced day-care hospice experience for patients, staff, and stakeholders. This initiative aimed to develop a prototype for an upcoming day care center scheduled for construction by 2020 at Outram Park Hospital. Ministry of Trade and Industry (Singapore)

- Interned within the Emerging Markets department at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, actively contributing to the content production efforts for GoBeyond.SG, a blog aimed at inspiring Singaporean youth to explore life in Emerging Markets (Africa, Central Asia, Latin America, Middle East, South Asia) by showcasing Singaporeans' experiences in these regions.

1. Produced and curated a total of 20 diverse content pieces, including interviews and videos. Additionally, edited 10 articles, refining their quality and readability. Introduced an original series titled "What Can I Buy with 1 Singapore Dollar in (Emerging Country)," which garnered significant attention and was subsequently adopted as a long-term series by the publication.

2. Established a structured social media calendar to enhance content dissemination and engagement, ensuring a consistent online presence and effective communication with the target audience.

3. Collaborated with fellow interns on a web improvement project, focusing on enhancing the website's layout and user experience. Actively participated in meetings with web design vendors to implement improvements, contributing to a more user-friendly and visually appealing platform.

Web Content Producer

Safiah is a versatile professional with a proven track record in helping startups, SMEs, and government organizations enhance their customer experiences through design research and effective content. She won a President*s Design Award in 2018 where her role in the team was to communicate research insights and possible solutions to advocate for policy changes for caregivers in Singapore.

She has a knack for producing compelling B2B and B2C content and has created multiple viral videos in the food niche in Singapore. Safiah's expertise extends to building and scaling content pipelines for an accounting SaaS company, with successful projects spanning the UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Safiah recently completed her Masters in Digital Management at Hyper Island Asia and participated in Boston Consulting Group's Rapid Immersion and Skills Enhancement (RISE) Program, specializing in Digital Transformation & Change Management. This experience has deepened her understanding of how innovation can drive growth in established companies, a subject she is particularly enthusiastic about.

To take a break from the fast-paced world of the digital, Safiah practices the slow tactile art of floral arrangement and the martial art of Aikido. She also enjoys digital illustration on Procreate.
