Both are equally important when you're building something from scratch.

But every single thing I'm doing helps me learn more about the product, the tech, and the user experience and it makes me better at my actual role.

We combined 4-5 Framer templates, pulled the best building blocks, and got it live. 

The goal wasn't to create something flawless, it was to move forward and unlock the next phase of our go-to-market strategy. Whilst building our fully custom website in the background.

Really like how the testimonials section for my portfolio turned out. 

I find sliders often boring and not great for engagement. 

So, I tried something different for this section. 

Instead of using boring left/right arrows, I used the images of my clients for the slider navigation. 

Click a face, see their testimonial.
Makes it way more interactive and personal.

All it took was Finsweet's Slider Dot attributes to implement this. 

Why this works better:

- People are naturally drawn to faces
- It shows who these testimonials are from upfront
- Makes the section feel alive instead of static
- Actually gets people to click through and read

This is the difference between "functional" design and design that drives engagement.

Small details like this compound into better conversions.

Could I have used a basic slider? Sure.

But why settle for functional when you can make it work harder for you?

High-Converting Webflow Websites for SaaS startups

SaaS founders will drop $120K on a senior engineer.

Then turn around and hire a $500 Upwork designer for their website.

Dude. 
What are you doing?

You're literally contradicting yourself.

You want A-players in sales. 
A-players in product.

Questions your CTA placement.

Makes you rethink your entire messaging strategy.

The difference isn't MORE work.
It's BETTER thinking.

$2K gets you execution.
Someone who takes your brief and builds it.

$10K gets you strategy.
Someone who pushes back and makes your website actually WORK.

I've seen $2K websites with 15 pages that convert at 0.5%.
And $10K websites with 5 pages that convert at 4%.

The page count didn't matter.
The strategic thinking did.

$2K = order taker.

I've turned down projects where clients just wanted execution.

"Here's the brief, just build it."

Nah.
