* Researched and scoped the effort required to port Sanctuary libraries to Eclipse.
* Developed requested features simultaneously across 3 different programming languages.
* Pioneered a method to store licensing information uniquely on different machines to prevent repeatable cracking techniques.
* Extended Belise functionality to allow server e-mail interaction with system administrators and enforce networked licensed time limits.
* Developed techniques to enhance debugging and performance tracking of Sanctuary libraries to improve turnaround time when resolving customer issues.

R&D Engineer: Licensing Business Unit

Responsible for designing, scoping, and developing JBuilder features.

* Created multi platform binaries of CVS to include with JBuilder to remove dependencies on an installed version.
* Collaborated other engineers on improving VCS, a proprietary Borland Java framework that integrates source control systems in the JBuilder IDE.
* Initiated the proposal and design of a complete ANT driven build system for the JBuilder IDE, collaborated with other engineers for implementation.
* Designed and developed a customized ANT solution to build a cross platform C launcher extending the Apache C ANT tasks to better support the Borland C++ compiler.
* Prepared and presented a technical talk on Creating Native Executables using JBuilder showcasing the new customizable launchers during the worldwide Borland conference.
* Led the effort in designing and building a cross platform C Java launcher, while building most of the infrastructure and coordinating the implementation of specific features by the different product engineers.

Responsible for developing features for Borland's C++ Builder, a Java based IDE integrating multiple compiler tool chains.

* Added Intel Performance Library support to C++ Builder X.
* Designed and developed a cross platform command line parser in C for the new C++ Compiler.
* Developed the Sun Forte, Open Watcom and Intel compiler tool chain integration with the IDE.
* Created an automated build system for building GCC cross compilers that target ARM processors while hosted on Intel CPU's.
* Developed the Metrowerks compiler tool chain integration for Symbian development resulting in fulfillment of $100.000 Nokia milestone.
* Prepared and presented an extensive talk on Advanced * Toolset Integration and extending CPU support in C++ Builder X during the worldwide Borland conference.
* Installation, configuration and maintenance of an embedded ARM Linux box to provide compiler team members with a testbed for the experimental ARM tool chain.

Responsible for developing tests plans, writing test cases, and testing Borland's C/C++ RTL, as well as the Borland incremental linker for Kylix 3, a C++ IDE that runs on Linux.

* Ported the existing test suites to Linux.
* Created a cross platform framework for linker testing using Perl and Delphi.
* Integrated and automated Plum Hall LibSuite++ to run under Linux with the Borland tool chain.
* Extended the existing Borland RTL test cases to reach conformance with the ANSI/ISO C++ Standard.

QA Engineer: C++/Mobile Business Unit

Responsible for developing tests plans, writing test cases, and testing the Delphi VCL, as well as the Borland SOAP framework.

* Extended existing suites, and created test cases for new Visual Components.
* Coded testing framework for Pascal interfaces and the new SOAP functionality in Delphi 6 and Kylix 1.
* Created an internal status reporting tool to test and demonstrate CLX, a cross platform visual component framework.
Automated creation of spec and build files to create easily distributable RPM packages for the custom Borland GNU libraries.
