How I Healed From Chronic Pain & Trauma 👉🏼 In the fall of 2020, my body shut down from a car accident, chronic stress, trauma from leaving a toxic relationship, burnout from starting a couple of online businesses at the same time, and COVID. 

On the outside, the more stressed I was, the harder I worked, but mentally, I was hanging by a thread.

I decided to hold myself accountable …and *DECIDED* I would heal myself.

It was the pandemic, the world was shut down, and treatment was hard to obtain.

I’ve been biohacking for over a decade, so I knew a thing or two about healing my body.

✅ Here’s what I did:

→ Talked to a therapist regularly.

→ Walked the walk (not just talk the talk).

→ Ran toward the feelings I didn’t want to feel.

→ Didn’t drag a partner to project my traumas onto.

→ Journaled and meditation became a regular practice.

→ Removed all distractions. Did it myself so I didn’t become codependent.

→ Maintained an active social life for my sanity but was strict with alcohol and vices.

→ When people triggered me, I got curious and ran towards it rather than get mad or hold grudges.

→ Exercised and ate nutritious foods *every day*. My routine grounds me, so I never sacrifice it.

→ Channelled all my focus into my businesses and health.

I’ve NEVER strayed from my passions, no matter how many 6-figure contracts I turned down when the company didn’t align with my values.

I’ve been running a digital agency since I was 22, launching e-commerce brands.  I work with the best of the best. I code + design + write + market + build + sell— and I over-deliver because I CAN DO ALL THESE THINGS MYSELF, so I know how to hire.

🚫 NEVER eat a high-carb, sugary breakfast on it's own. If you DO want a croissant or a donut (cuz, #onelifetolive), have it after protein and fiber. Being obsessed with food science, it still blows my mind, how pastries normalize for breakfast serve vegetables.

🚫  Don't have coffee on an empty stomach (acid reflex, cortisol release, insulin levels).

Nutrition tip: Eat your carbs at night (unless exercising) at least 3 hours before bed because it may help you sleep.

10 years ago, I had 47 unfinished courses in my inbox.

I thought I was broken.

↳ Cold water on your wrists. 
↳ A 2-minute walk.

Regulation first. Execution second.

📌 2. Track your capacity, not your output.

Stop measuring success by how much you checked off the list.

Start asking: *How much energy do I have left at the end of the day?*

If you're collapsing every night, you're not building. You're borrowing.

→ Your goal isn't to do more.

It's to do what you do *without depleting yourself.*

📌 3. Build in nervous system recovery like you build in client calls.

You wouldn't skip a sales meeting.

Don't skip the thing that makes the sales meeting possible.

→ Block 15 minutes midday for regulation.
↳ No email. 
↳ No strategy. 
↳ Just recalibration.

LEARN TO DROP INTO *90min FLOW BLOCKS*

Our bodies have a quantifiable natural work/rest cycle called the ‘ultradian cycle’, which hypothesizes that our alertness (focus) lasts approximately 90 minutes before our body begins to crave a break—that should be at least 20 minutes to recharge. 

Ultradian rhythms are oscillating biological patterns hardwired into our DNA, affecting all aspects of our physical, mental, and emotional health. 

I set up my desk, a timer for 90 minutes, and I try not to eliminate all distractions—including bathroom breaks, to avoid disrupting a flow state.

💡 Tips to drop into a deep 90min flow block:

➡️ Create a ritual to drop into DEEP WORK → by “anchoring habits.” Eg. My pre-game routine for a block of deep work: make coffee, sit down, tidy desk, breathwork for a state change → and begin work.

➡️ Flow states are neurochemically taxing for your brain. Do max 3-4x per day (up to 4 if you’re a pro) but you MUST deploy ACTIVE RECOVERY. Check out my post on ACTIVE RECOVERY (most of us are doing it wrong). Link in comments.

➡️ Eliminate ALL distractions during the flow block. This includes bathroom breaks, getting up to get water. Phone on an airplane. Set yourself up for success before you start.

They're simply projecting their insecurities onto you because our brains' only job is to keep us alive and protect us from danger, including the danger of being exposed to negative feelings when we realize somebody has something we want that we don't have.

Look up: "projection" in psychology.

Remember that girl who tried to play victim and published that Andrew Huberman piece but instead made him even more famous?

Good or bad, ALL attention is good. Thank them for boosting you and spending that precious time they’ll never get back… on you!

You should be flattered because you triggered them— hopefully planting a seed. They may thank you later (like a bunch of my followers who hated me for my brash opinions in the beginning). 😉

A “trigger” is a sign in your life that something needs to change; otherwise, you won’t be triggered.

Chase them to level up quickly.



📌 If selfies and pineapples on pizza bug you…. you probably have deeper issues to look at.

Just saying.

Faces are scroll-stoppers because we’re unconsciously attracted to them (an evolutionary survival mechanism) … and smart peeps use them to their advantage in our attention economy.

Don't judge others who have the courage to put themselves out there…most likely because many people fear stepping into their own light. 

But we encourage you to do so. 

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. 🫶🏼

Life begins when you stop caring what others think of you.



📌 There’s more to life than LinkedIn.

Don't feel bad because some people are on social media 24/7. 

I know I’ll NEVER be able to keep up with my inbox, connection requests, and even reply to all comments. The paradox of influence.

Aim for progress, not perfection.

Not all of us have time, especially ladies with children and other priorities like living IRL. 

Don't get discouraged. 

If you do, use this mantra: “eliminate distractions and stay in your lane.”

Mantras can be used as “triggers” to help your brain switch emotional states or perform an action. Use them repetitively to program your brain.

Got the most delightful DM from a complete stranger on LinkedIn; some older gentleman who took time out of his day to inform me that my lifestyle "isn't real" and that higher education is the only legitimate path to making money.

Sir. 𝘚𝘪𝘳.

I don't know how to tell you this, but while you were typing that message, millions of people were buying digital products, enrolling in online courses, and building businesses from their phones.

This man genuinely doesn't understand that personal branding exists. Like, as a concept. As a multi-billion dollar industry.

He's out here acting like e-commerce is a rumour and the coaching industry is some sort of collective hallucination we're all having.

The coaching and self-help industry alone is worth over $10 billion.

BILLION. 

With a B.

That ain't Monopoly money, babe.

That's people paying for transformation, community, expertise, and access... delivered digitally, branded personally, sold through visibility.

And ecom?! 💸💸💸💸💸

But sure, let me go get another degree so I can be $100K in debt and still have to build a personal brand to stand out in my field anyway.

The funniest part?

We chatting on Linked. A platform that exists solely because of personal branding.

The irony is so thick you could cut it with a poorly-designed resume from 1987.

Look, I have nothing against higher education. I'm not anti-college. I LOVE school. I'm always learning. But I am anti-narrowminded. 

The future of work is already here.

It's just not evenly distributed... and apparently, it hasn't reached that inbox yet.

→ Your personal brand is your economy
→ Your visibility is your security
→ Your authority is your asset class

💣 You don’t wanna hear it, so I’m gonna say it: why you need to exercise vigorously 

Participants in a 2-year intense exercise intervention reversed the effects of ageing on the heart, making it look 20 years younger!

Studies show vigorous aerobic exercise for 5-6 hours a week can:

→ reverse heart ageing
→ lower blood pressure
→ have anti-cancer effects
→ 20% increase in V2 Max after 2 years

Vo2 max is one of the strongest predictors for longevity.

Guys, you know I’m that annoying girl who loves MONYAYS and won’t shut up about EXERCISE. 💪🏼 It solves every problem (from my anecdotal evidence 🤓).

→ anxiety
→ fat gain
→ loneliness
→ depression
→ hopelessness

I’m guilty about being obsessed with exercise. 

I began this lifestyle when I turned 20 and have NEVER fallen off the bandwagon or lost motivation to exercise since. 🤞🏼

I'm sure y'all were happy when we heard that Zone 2 cardio was the best to keep you younger.

But I’ve come across many studies showing vigorous exercise is required to increase Vo2 max.

I’m not surprised. 

Why?

I've been in endurance sports since I turned 20 in 2007. Most of my friends are 20-30+years older than me. 

Yet some look + act younger than people MY age! 

I think the reason is vigorous exercise— especially endurance sports such as cycling and climbing mountains OUTDOORS.

The rolling hills that we ride are Mother Nature’s way of HIIT. Ups, down, up down.

On top of that, we killed two birds with one stone because we exercise outdoors.

As we all know, nature therapy is the real deal.

You can't deny it.

Studies show intense exercise at 80% max heart rate for 30-40 minutes or HIIT can significantly increase BDNF.

Here’s what intense exercise can do:

→ Intense exercise at 75-80% max heart rate for 20-30 minutes, along with the Norwegian 4x4 protocol once a week, can reverse heart age by 20 years.

→ Intense exercise at 80% max heart rate for 30-40min or HIIT can significantly increase BDNF (aka fertilizer for your brain).

→ Has anti-cancer effects by activating the immune system and killing circulating tumor cells through the mechanical force of blood flow.

→ Benefits of physical activity may be even stronger for cancer patients, with a 48% reduced risk of dying from any cause for breast cancer and a 42% reduced risk for colar rectal cancer.

→ While aerobic exercise at 50-70% max heart rate for 150 minutes a week lowers cancer risk
