One of the main tasks was creating new financial reports for the e-commerce controlling team, such as daily sales performances and sales indicators in order to obtain a better understanding of what drives revenue. Furthermore, I was involved in controlling the monthly actuals vs. budgeted costs of all the e-commerce departments, discussing the outcomes during regular meetings.

During my stay I have achieved a good understanding of the KPI's (Key performance Indicators) that drive the online business, different business models and financial accounting and controlling itself. As a financial controller I was continuously working on understanding how to optimize different KPI's in order to be more profitable without losing client satisfaction. In addition, I have also developed interpersonal skills such as planning, researching and communicating with employees on different levels and in different situations.

Working closely with key stakeholders to develop and deliver a HR agenda that supports the overall business and people objectives. Contribution to areas such as: employment terms, performance management, absence management, compensation, wellbeing, and career development while maintaining positive employee relations and compliance with legislation and company policies, practices, and procedures. And most important: breaking down these (strategic) plans into operational steps and liaising with the parties involved to ensure correct implementation. Supporting 2 legal entities: 450FTE.

- Advise and support management and employees on labour legislation, HR processes within the organisation, capacity and capability planning, organizational changes, career development, performance management and absence management;
- Review, analyse and translate HR analytics to support management decisions; 
- Influence management to generate support on HR objectives of their team; 
- Dealing with sensitive day to day people management issues, fairly representing all interests;
- Developing and revising company policies & procedures in line with legislation and ensuring correct communication and implementation;
- Following-up on absence management actions (labour research, supporting manager on first track obligations, initiating second-track);
- HR representative during off-boarding based on mutual agreement (settlements);
- Overseeing the correct execution of the HR Administration (execution delegated to HR support function);

- Absence registration, handling of UWV requests for illness or maternity/partner leave, ensure correct follow up;

De afdeling personeels- en salarisadministratie verzorgt de administratie van circa 8500 medewerkers en een grote groep externen. Onder de personeelsadministratie valt het administratief verwerken van de mutaties rondom in-, door- en uitstroom van personeel. De afdeling levert haar diensten onder meer aan de P&O-adviseurs en het personeel van de organisatie. Mijn verantwoordelijkheid ligt specifiek op het gebied van de externen.

Het SSC is de ruggengraat van het secretariaat en verantwoordelijk voor de generieke secretariële ondersteuning van alle praktijkgroepen binnen Boekel. Stage tot en met juni.
