Working longer hours used to feel like a badge of honour to me.

I thought it made me look serious. 

Like I was doing more than everyone else.

But over time, I noticed something uncomfortable.

The days I worked the longest were usually the days my work felt… meaningless to me.

- Ideas didn’t flow.
- Thinking felt slow.
- Even things I knew I was good at felt boring.

At first, I thought I was losing my edge.

But I wasn’t.

I was just tired.

As our attention span is decreasing day by day, it’s hard for our brains store many ideas.

When you don’t give your mind a break, it runs out of things to give back.

Hence, the output will be the worst.

That’s why so many creative people are very protective of their free time.

They do things that don’t look productive at all.

• They read books.
• Listen to music.
• Go on long walks.
• Learn something new.


From the outside, it can look like time wasted.

But that “empty” time is where ideas compound.

When we try different things, our brain starts observing patterns and starts connecting the dots.

Excellent results don’t come from counting hours.

They come from having energy, clarity, and a fresh POV.

So if you feel stuck right now, maybe the answer isn’t pushing harder.

Maybe it’s stepping away for a bit.

Take a break. Live a little outside your work.

Creativity doesn’t need more hours at the desk.

It needs space to breathe.

Enjoy the process!

I see this mistake every time. 

People confuse branding, marketing and sales.

Here’s how I think about it:

1. Branding is how people feel about you.

⁍ What comes to mind when they see your name?

2. Marketing is how people find you.

• Your posts.
• Your content.
• Your presence.

3. Sales are how you earn from them.

‣ The offer.
‣ The conversation.
‣ The yes or no.

Each one has a different purpose.

Even if you’re really good at your work, you can still be invisible without marketing.

You could post every day and still struggle if people don’t trust you.

You can try to sell, but it’s difficult when there’s no connection.

I learnt this the hard way.

Things only started working when I stopped focusing on just one aspect and paid attention to all three.

You don’t need to be perfect.

You just need balance.

⦿ Ask yourself these questions:

1. How do other people see you?
2. How do they find you?
3. How do you get paid?

That’s the whole point.

Writing is a form of meditation 🧘‍♂️

Even if you’re a beginner, it has the power to transform your life.

Five years ago, I was feeling restless because there were so many thoughts racing through my mind.

The reason was simple: I was overthinking and consuming a lot of content from books, podcasts, newsletters, and videos.

But...

As I started writing whatever came to mind without adding a filter, everything started changing:

1. I got clarity.
2. I started feeling better.
3. My thoughts slow down.
4. I got a lot of content ideas.

Writing improves my overall life.

These days, I write everything in my notebook because it helps me introspect and reflect on my whole life.

It acts as a mirror.

Writing is thinking on paper.

In my early days, one of my writing inspirations was Tim Ferriss, who introduced me to the concept of Morning Pages.

The concept is quite simple: you have to write whatever you’re feeling in a notebook or a journal without judging yourself.

What do you think about this concept?

Today is the last day of the year.

Many people are going to celebrate, while others won’t care about it.

I’m not judging anyone.

But...

A few years ago, I thought that everyone else was living a glorious life except me.

I thought that having lots of friends to hang out with would make me happy.

I thought that having a perfect career would allow me to live worry-free.

I was living in an illusion.

On social media, people rarely share how they truly feel because they’re afraid of being judged.

To be honest, 2024 and 2025 were the toughest years of my life.

I often ask myself if what I’m doing is truly making me happy.

Sometimes I feel that I’m missing something.

My patience is being tested by constant doubt, but my faith is stronger than my doubt.

There were times when I didn’t write a single word, but I kept trying...

That’s the only thing I can control.

When I start to introspect, I begin to understand what truly matters.

The things I was chasing hard won’t matter anymore.

True happiness comes from the little things we try to avoid, such as reading, writing, and walking.

I also learned that if you’re not grateful for what you have, you won’t feel satisfied when you have more.

If you don’t enjoy spending time alone, you won’t truly enjoy being with others.

Fast forward to 2025, and I realised that sometimes we need to pause and reflect on the things that bring us peace.

I’m not setting any New Year’s resolutions this year. I’m just trying to be honest with myself and trust my intuition more.
