Thankfully my money was saved.

But my time was wasted.

Filling out those ICP (Ideal customer profile) forms, was something I regret till now.

I didn't know how to answer questions like -

💀 Write 5 pain points of your ideal customers.

For f**ks sake, I don't know!

I even interviewed my ideal customers.

I asked questions to them and found out their pain points in vague words.

I knew exactly how my service will solve it.

But even though the pieces looked like they would fit together perfectly.

They didn’t.

Something was missing.

And I found that missing magic accidentally.

By hit and trial for 6 months.

It took me 6 months to find my target audience.
Their pain points.
And correct my messaging to them. 

I know how much this process was delayed by the incomplete information on the internet.

Since then it sort of became my mission to help people who are stuck in this place.

My name is Erin Parrish-Harlow, and I am physically disabled. Throughout my life, my disability has been used against me to ostracize me from my classmates. I want to use my experiences with getting accommodations in school (and overcoming bullying) to help people with disabilities. 

No matter physical or intellectual abilities, every person should be able to access education, employment, housing — every thing that someone who does not have either an intellectual disability or a physical disability can access with ease. 

Ableism happens in every part of society: Education, employment, healthcare, and housing, to name a few. 

I want to help people with disabilities overcome every obstacle that they encounter. 

It would bring me great joy to work in the social services field helping disabled individuals overcome obstacles to gainful employment.
