1. Cardio won’t burn fat like lifting weights and eating right will. Period.

2. Hit 1g of protein per pound of your ideal body weight every day.

3. Drink water before every meal. Your body and your appetite will thank you.

4. The scale is lying to you. Focus on body recomposition. 

5. Track progress with photos, your clothes, and strength gains; not only numbers on a scale.

1️⃣ Strength train 2-4 times a week

Why? Because building strength isn’t just about looking good, it’s about feeling unstoppable. 

Push yourself, stay consistent, and don’t overthink it. 

If you're lifting weights and challenging yourself, that’s enough to see progress.

2️⃣ Eat balanced, whole-food meals (and plan ahead!)

Include enough protein, healthy fats, and complex carbs in your meals. 

This combo keeps you full, boosts your energy, and supports muscle repair and metabolism.

Pro tip: Plan your meals the night before or meal prep on Sundays. Making decisions when you’re busy = recipe for derailment.

3️⃣ Sleep 7-9 hour per night

Getting enough sleep isn’t a luxury; it’s a performance hack. 

It’s how your body repairs, your mind sharpens, and your hormones reset. 

Plus, better sleep = better mood, focus, metabolism, and workouts.

==> Get your phone out of the bedroom!

4️⃣ Go for a walk EVERY DAY

A daily walk can change everything. 

It clears your mind, strengthens your brain, and helps you live longer. 

Research shows 8,000 steps a day can lower your risk of mortality by up to 50%.

Can’t fit in a walk? Make it non-negotiable. 

Listen to a podcast, call a friend, or just enjoy the fresh air.

5️⃣ Stop being a jerk to yourself

Here’s the truth: You are the person you’ll spend the rest of your life with.

Talk to yourself like you’d talk to a friend you care about because the reality is, you become what you tell yourself ;) 

Drop the constant self-criticism, and start recognizing how hard you’re trying.

There’s no magical “perfect time” to get started.

We all have 168 hours in a week.

40 hours for work.
56 hours for sleep.

❗ That still leaves 72 hours.

Even if you work 60 hours a week, you still have 52 hours left!

Now, ask yourself honestly:

▶ How many hours did you spend on Netflix?

▶ How much time did you lose scrolling social media?

▶ How many of those hours just slipped away without purpose?

Are you sure you can't dedicate just 2 hours a week, broken down into four 30-minute sessions if needed, for some movement? 😉

One sure thing is: we all make time for what matters.

1. You either make time for your health now… or you’ll be forced to make time for doctors later.

2. You’re not out of shape because you’re busy.

You’re out of shape because you’ve been prioritizing the business over the machine that runs it: you.

3. You can’t out-exercise poor sleep, chronic stress, and boardroom eating habits.

4. Low energy and a growing belly aren’t “part of aging.” They’re signs you’ve ignored your body for too long.

5. Cardio won’t fix what strength training solves faster and more efficiently.

6. You don’t need motivation. You need a system that works when motivation fades.

7. Muscle is the engine of your metabolism, especially for men over 35. 

Lose it, and everything declines.

8. Your success won’t matter if your health fails. Burnout doesn’t care about your title.

9. Eat like a man who leads: simple, real, whole food... not chaos disguised as convenience.

10. Your metabolism didn’t slow down with age. Your lifestyle changed when your career took off and you stopped taking care of yourself :)

11. Stress is making you gain fat. Your body literally stores it when you’re always “on.”

12. Skip training now, and you’ll feel it in your mobility, energy, and performance later.

13. Your body is giving feedback every day. Ignoring it doesn’t make you strong; it makes you vulnerable.

14. If it took years to 10 years to gain the weight, it won’t disappear in a week.

15. If you can’t find 3 hours a week for your health, your priorities, not your schedule, need adjusting.

16. Self-respect is built through action. Keep the promises you make to yourself OR your confidence will pay the price. 

17. You already know what to do. You just haven’t had the strategy and accountability to execute consistently.

We hear a lot about cutting sugar and eating more protein, but one hidden disruptor to metabolism and mood is industrial seed oils.

🌾 What are seed oils?

Extracted from seeds like soybean, corn, canola, sunflower, safflower, cottonseed, and grapeseed. 

They’re cheap, shelf-stable, and found in fried foods, sauces, snacks, and even “healthy” options like oat milk and protein bars.

⚠️ Why they’re problematic:

1️⃣ Omega-6 overload

Seed oils are high in linoleic acid (Omega-6). The body needs some Omega-6, but balance is key. 

Our ancestors consumed roughly a 1:1 Omega-6:Omega-3 ratio. 

Today, it’s 15–20:1, mainly from processed oils. 

👉 Multiple studies (Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy, 2018; Nutrients, 2021) show this imbalance promotes chronic inflammation linked to heart disease, insulin resistance, obesity, and neurodegeneration.

2️⃣ Oxidation and free radicals

High-heat processing and reheating of PUFA-rich oils produce lipid peroxides and aldehydes, compounds linked to cellular damage, inflammation, and a higher risk of chronic disease.

3️⃣ Mitochondrial and metabolic stress

Excess Omega-6 integrates into cell membranes, making them more prone to oxidative stress and impairing mitochondrial function, contributing to fatigue and slower metabolism.

🧩 Where they hide 

(They’re in almost everything since they are cheap, shelf-stable, and often disguised as “healthy” foods)

- Restaurants (yes, even the “healthy” ones!) and fast food
- Packaged snacks, salad dressings, sauces
- Plant-based milks and protein bars

✅ What to do instead

Take back control by cooking at home whenever possible. 

Choose:

🫒 Extra-virgin olive oil for salads or low-heat cooking
🥥 Coconut oil, butter, or tallow for high-heat cooking

- Eating out? Apps like "Seed Oil Scout" can help you identify restaurants using cleaner oils. 

- Always check ingredients on packaged foods.

‼️ Seed oils aren’t inherently toxic, but consuming them too often in modern diets can promote inflammation and metabolic stress.

I personally avoid them as much as I can, and I notice my energy stays high and I rarely get sick 😉

➡️ Making small, consistent swaps will have a major impact on long-term health, so start today!

Traveling doesn’t make you fat.... Lack of structure does.

After 5 years coaching entrepreneurs and executives who live on planes, I’ve learned that the key isn’t perfection, it’s STRATEGY!

Here are 6 proven (and science-backed) ways to stay fit while traveling (without giving up great food or experiences)👇

1️⃣ The one-plate strategy

Hotel buffets are engineered for overconsumption: bright colors, variety, and aromas all trigger dopamine release.

Research from Cornell University shows that visual variety can increase food intake by up to 30%.

Here’s the fix:

 → One plate only.
 → Fill 70% of it with protein + vegetables first + sauces ALWAYS on the side

You’ll automatically cut calories, balance blood sugar, & stay satisfied longer.

2️⃣ Walk the airport (seriously!)

Long flights and sitting for hours reduce blood flow and increase insulin resistance... even if you exercise later.

Before boarding, get 2–3k steps walking through the terminal.

You’ll boost circulation, reduce water retention, and land more energized.

3️⃣ Pocket protein strategy

Bad food decisions happen when hunger meets poor options. (I have been there 😅)

A Harvard study found that people who eat 25–30g of protein per meal experience fewer cravings and better appetite control throughout the day.

My go-to:

 ✔️ Hard -oil eggs

Or pick a balanced meal once at the airport. 
 
You’ll make better choices even when you’re in a different timezone.

4️⃣ Hydration protocol

Dehydration is one of the biggest hidden causes of jet lag and overeating.

Mild dehydration (even 1–2%) can reduce focus, mood, and energy.

→ Drink 1L of water before your flight.
→ Add electrolytes during travel days.
→ Limit alcohol and caffeine until you land.

You’ll feel clearer, sleep better, and prevent the typical post-flight crash.

5️⃣ The first-meal reset

What you eat first affects your blood sugar for the entire day, it’s called the “second meal effect.”

Start your day with:

🥚 Protein (eggs, tofu, Greek yogurt)
🍓 Fiber (fruit, avocado, oats, or chia)

Avoid the pancake-and-syrup trap. 

You’ll stay full, focused, and productive instead of crashing by 2pm.

6️⃣ Text your coach

Motivation fades, but accountability doesn’t.

That’s why my private clients text me their menus before client dinners.

We adjust on the spot, so they can enjoy the meal and still make progress.

Research shows that people with accountability support are 65% more likely to achieve their goals, and 95% when they have ongoing check-ins.

I’ve noticed 5 mistakes almost every man makes on the road to a flat stomach.

Let’s fix that 😉 

1️⃣ Believing cardio is the holy grail of fat loss

If running burned belly fat the way people think it does, half of Dubai would have a six-pack by now.

Here’s the truth:

- You can’t out-exercise a bad diet
- Hardcore cardio makes you hungrier
- It’s time-consuming and hard on your joints

What to do instead:

- Strength train 3–4x per week
- Hit 7k–10k steps daily
- Eat in a slight calorie deficit

=> Cardio burns calories during the workout.
=> Muscle burns calories all day.

Pick your fighter.

2️⃣ Training 6–7 days a week, like punishment

Focus on smart training > more workouts

When you hit the gym every single day, here’s what’s actually happening:

- Cortisol spikes (the “hold onto fat” hormone)
- Recovery tanks → muscle growth stalls
- You burn out faster, get injured sooner, and eventually quit altogether.

Want results that actually stick?

- Lift 3–4x per week with intention
- Move on rest days, don’t “train”
- Sleep 7+ hours so your body can do its job

Rest is not a luxury.

It’s part of the program.

3️⃣ Thinking supplements are the missing piece

The fitness industry makes billions because people are confused.

Let me simplify:

- Fat burners = a waste
- Pre-workout = fancy caffeine
- BCAAs = useless if you eat enough protein
- Detox teas? Don't even get me started 😅 

What’s actually worth your money?

- Creatine
- Electrolytes (especially if you sweat like crazy)
- Magnesium glycinate for better sleep and muscle recovery

Everything else is basically a donation to the supplement industry. 😅 

4️⃣ Yo-yo dieting & “quick miracles”

Keto. Carnivore. Fasting. Juice cleanses. The whole circus.

If you enjoy them, great but let’s be honest:

- Keto kills your gym performance
- Carnivore is basically “steak for breakfast, steak for lunch, existential crisis for dinner.”

Most people quit → regain everything (and more)

What actually works long term?

- Mostly whole foods
- 30–50g of protein per meal
- The famous 80/20 rule 😉 

✖️ You don’t need a 30-day plan.
✔️ You need a solution that you can keep for a lifetime! 

5️⃣ Trying to do everything alone

This one is the silent killer.

Busy men think they can “figure it out” solo.

Then 6 months pass… The belly is still there and growing…

And the Google searches get more desperate 😅

Here’s the truth:

❌ You don’t rise to the level of your motivation.

✅ You rise to the level of your systems and support.

Once you have the right system in place, your results stop depending on motivation; they just happen.
