I spearheaded full-stack development for the Getty Images contributor portal, serving an extensive user base of over 1 million. Our project began by entirely revamping the frontend. Crucially, we maintained robust test coverage through a rigorous Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach.

On the backend, we crafted a versatile infrastructure. My substantial contributions encompassed the creation of both frontend and backend features. These included building functionalities for seamless contributor onboarding, facilitating image and video uploads, and orchestrating asset submissions. The latter involved navigating intricate metadata processes within our internal workflows.

In summary, my role in this project was pivotal in elevating the Getty Images contributor portal to new heights, utilizing leading-edge technologies and intricate backend systems to enhance user experiences and streamline asset management processes.

Became the first company in the world to sell prescription smart glasses online. Took the app from concept to market in under 6 months.

Worked closely with Bauer Hockey's stick development department and innovation team while completing my Master's Degree at McGill University. My research focused on analyzing grip force magnitude and patterns during slap and wrist shots and contributed to a better understanding of the impact of this on stick and player performance.

・My work, "Force measures at the hand-stick interface during ice hockey slap and wrist shots" was presented at the Canadian Society of Biomechanics Conference (2012) and has been referenced in several sports engineering books, including, "The Engineering Approach to Winter Sports" (2016).
