Yesterday in Lima, his party was packed.

2M followers. Sold-out crowds.

A decade of relentless work.

I shared a pic with a friend and he said:

“Damn, I remember when he played for 200.”

That hit me.

Because here’s what most people miss about success:

It’s not about the destination.

It’s about loving the journey more than your audience does.

Solomun didn’t blow up because he wanted fame.

He blew up because he would’ve done it for free.

For 200 people. For 20. For 2.

That’s the real magic of consistency.

When you love your craft so much that showing up stops feeling like work, everything changes.

The audience feels it.
The algorithm rewards it.
The opportunities find you.

I’ve posted on LinkedIn for 2+ years now.

Some posts flopped.
Some went viral.

But the ones that performed best?

The ones I enjoyed writing most.

Not the ones I forced.

Here’s what I mean:

I’ve trained 500+ developers since 2022.

And in 2025, something shifted.

People started showing up with “apps” they built using AI.

No understanding of what the code does.

No clue how to fix it when it breaks.

Just vibes.

The problem isn’t the tool.

The problem is the expectation.


Vibe coding is incredible for:

→ Prototyping ideas in hours instead of weeks

→ Learning by seeing patterns in generated code

→ Building internal tools that don’t need to scale

→ Getting unstuck when you hit a wall


Vibe coding is terrible for:

→ Replacing actual problem-solving skills

→ Building production apps without understanding architecture

→ Debugging when the AI gives you confident nonsense

→ Long-term career growth if it’s your only skill


Devs who will win in 2026?

They use AI as a multiplier, not a replacement.

They still understand why the code works.

They still know when the AI is hallucinating.

They still build the judgment that only comes from breaking things yourself.


The shortcut that skips understanding leads to a dead end.

Use the tools.
Love the tools.

But don’t confuse speed with skill.

One compound.
The other doesn’t.

That's one Figma file translated into Webflow.

Multiple pages, sections, responsive breakpoints, and iterations.

This is why I stopped charging per page years ago.

When clients ask "how much for a website?" they're thinking 5-10 pages. 

When I see a project like this, I'm thinking:
→ Navigation systems across every breakpoint
→ Component libraries that stay consistent
→ CMS structures that actually make sense
→ Interactions that don't break on mobile
→ Revisions, feedback rounds, and optimization

A "simple website" is never simple when you do it right.

This is also why retainer partnerships work better than project quotes.

Big projects don't fit neatly into a fixed scope.

They evolve. They grow. They need ongoing attention.

After 4 years of Webflow development, I've learned:

The best client relationships aren't transactional.

They're partnerships built on trust and consistent delivery.

One project like this taught me more than 10 small landing pages ever could.

And be consistent with it.

“You can’t build great websites if you can’t function.”

My mom said this when she found me coding at 3 AM for the third night in a row.

Back then I was trying to prove myself as a Webflow developer.

Taking every client.
Working weekends.
Skipping sleep to hit deadlines.

Then I shipped a project with 3 major bugs I missed.

Because I was exhausted.

Here’s what I learned about sustainable Webflow development:

Your health directly affects your code quality

No client is worth debugging at midnight when you can’t think straight.

No deadline justifies shipping buggy work because you’re too tired to QA.

No retainer is worth losing your ability to solve problems creatively.

I changed 3 things that made me a better developer:

→ No coding after 8 PM
(bugs multiply when you’re tired)

→ Morning walks before opening Webflow
(clearer problem-solving)

→ One full day off per week 
(no Slack, no client emails)

The result?

Cleaner code.
Faster solutions.
Happier clients.

My retainer clients get better work now because I’m rested.

My QA process actually catches issues because I can focus.
