I've spent over 30 years fighting financial crime.

From audit to banking, forensic investigations, compliance, and risk management - across Asia, Middle East and Africa, in FinTech, and traditional finance.

One thing became clear early: Rules don't stop financial crime. People do.

That conviction shaped everything I do now.

I take a human-centered approach to compliance. Not tick-box exercises. Not policing functions. Culture.

Because I've watched organisations pass audits and fail spectacularly. I've seen consent orders terminated, only for the same bank to collapse years later for the exact same reasons. The paperwork changed. The culture didn't.

So I built PULSE® - a framework for measuring what actually matters: People, Undertaking, Leadership, Structure, Ecosystem. It helps organisations see where their culture stands, not where their documentation says it does.
