Reactions are the one-click ways to respond to a LinkedIn post. There are six: like, celebrate, support, love, insightful and funny.

What each reaction means

Do reaction types matter for reach?

For the algorithm, a reaction is a reaction: the type does not change its weight. What matters is volume and speed. A burst of reactions in the first hour signals the algorithm to widen distribution.

Reactions are the lightest form of engagement, though. Comments and shares carry more weight, so treat reactions as the floor of your post engagement, not the goal.
