We source short-term real estate loans from a nationwide network of vetted lenders to provide fixed-income investment opportunities for both financial institutions and individual investors. 

Lead the strategic operations team focused on improving quality, efficiency, and timeliness of loan origination and servicing. Responsible for product, tech, and strategic roadmap and planning as well as program and process management across the organization.

Some of my successes and work contributed to reducing time to originate and underwrite loans over 50% through process improvement and automation, improving loan quality and reducing errors 100%, onboarding 25% more originators and increasing loan submission rate 25%, and increasing revenue 4x per loan by developing a new pricing model and transitioning the investment strategy.

Directly manage, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team of analysts, data scientists, and process improvement associates, responsible for improving the customer journey through data-based tests and decisions. Foster a collaborative and transparent environment horizontally and vertically across the organization.

Lead the development of the company's analytics infrastructure, including establishing key operations metrics and creating KPI monitoring dashboards to facilitate automated real-time decision-making based on data. 

Responsible for the vendor management and project life-cycles, including vendor contract negotiation, project design, development, and deployment, and continued maintenance and improvement. 

Optimize the application conversion funnel by improving front-line agent efficiencies, automating processes, and increasing customer self-service capabilities, leading to improvements in conversion rates, customer satisfaction, decreasing costs, and reducing manual processes.

Help to lead and manage a team, including direct reports, by developing the vision and strategy for Customer Service Operations to drive change and implement improved processes and policies in order to reduce refunds, reduce customer contacts, and improve the overall customer experience. 

Responsible for identifying and leading the end-to-end implementation of cross-functional business process improvement projects with multiple stakeholders throughout the organization by leveraging best-in-class program / project management practices. 

Current projects include saving Groupon North America tens of millions of dollars in refunds by working closely with each business, improving customer service tools, saving customer service teams over 40 hours of work per week, improving customer satisfaction, and designing and implementing improved policies and procedures. 

Build relationships and collaborate with other areas of operations and the business, including merchant services, editorial, risk, sales, business operations, and product and engineering.

Utilize Github and JIRA, as well as advanced SQL and analysis techniques to identify and implement solutions.  

Develop dashboards and reports to be used by cross-functional teams to provide insights and actions.

Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement - Global Operations

McDonald's

Part of the Strategy & Insights Team responsible for analyzing the current business environment and recommending strategies to leadership.

Ensure consistency in quantitative research methodology.

Develop advanced sales and business analysis tools using internal visualization tools, excel, and VBA for senior leadership in order to gauge insight into the overall performance of the business. This includes the creation of data and report automation for new and existing models.  

Present complex quantitative data and analysis across teams and organizations including I/T, Senior Leadership, and consulting groups. 

Within the first six months on the job, I developed an internal website and collaboration space for the Strategy & Insights Department, planned its usage, and trained users. I was able to save the department thousands of dollars by automating a new and more efficient way to communicate to business partners. I was recognized and rewarded by senior leadership for work done above and beyond my responsibilities.

Was responsible for maintenance, upkeep, and repair of city and school department database systems and servers. 

Managed multiple technical and web-based projects including, but not limited to, asset management programs, web-based learning and testing software, student information system, SQL databases, and the city website.

Assisted the performance management team with data collection and analysis.   

Performed quality assurance duties on all incoming technical programs, systems, and services in order to determine their effectiveness and readiness for deployment throughout the city and school system. 

Data analyst and report writer for all City and School Departments. Aided in collecting, analyzing, preparing, and presenting data to major stakeholders including department heads, directors, and the Mayor.

Assisted in the overall administration, management, supervision and operation of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics Research Computing Facility (RCF), directly supporting over 300 faculty, staff and graduate students.

Managed an extensive array of networked servers, workstations, PCs and peripherals running a variety of operating systems (UNIX, LINUX, MacOSX, Windows) in a dynamic multi-vendor research computing environment.

Learned and managed departmental computer network administration techniques and ensured the proper functioning of all associated network devices (switches, hubs, cabling connections).

Prepared documentation and provided consultation to faculty and staff on the use of various operating systems, applications and packages for workstations and PCs.
