Over 15 years of professional experience in life. Well, ok – personal too…plus more, of course 😊 We often say to not blend personal with professional, but work plays a big part in our lives. And believe it or not, I love working, I’ve always enjoyed what I do, and my professional journey has allowed me to learn so much and to meet amazing people. Ultimately...life is about human connections. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, my latest adventure (growyze) brings a mixture of what I’ve been striving for – help an industry that we all love and we/ communities certainly can’t live without, and make an impact on peoples’ lives, with sustainability in mind. Can hospitality, though, fight the challenges that our Planet is facing? Yes, it can play a big role in combating climate change. However, sustainability goes a long way and it requires gradual incremental changes – personal and business. But we all have to acknowledge that technology is key for moving forward, for accelerating processes, changing behaviours, etc. I would say that I’ve been lucky to have had so much experience in diverse environments to shape me up, equipping me with positive and innovative attitude towards anything I do. My background varies from playing for the National Football Team under 19 and coaching tennis, to selling drinks and promoting bars and pubs, to liaising with people from the European Commission and winning grants for organisations, to supporting innovators and social entrepreneurs across Europe, and implementing OCR technology for invoice validation systems in the UK. As a 360-degree turnaround, I’m back in hospitality, working on making a change. Aiming to help owners/managers introduce a modern way of operating and streamlining their back of house processes to make a difference, impact on their businesses. Tech is the future. Sustainable operations are the future. But it all comes together with the right mindset, attitude and readiness for positive and technological change.
