A former HR executive in the healthcare industry, I am a partner in the Houston office of Fisher Phillips, which devotes its practice exclusively to representing management in employment matters. I worked in healthcare for 17 years before joining Fisher & Phillips. At one time, I was the chief HR officer for a group of 22 hospitals in five states. I have also been a member of the governing board of a community hospital and a private school. This practical experience helps me provide effective advice regarding real-world employment issues that arise on a day-to-day basis. I am also a member of the firm’s COVID-19 Taskforce, a cross-disciplinary team of attorneys dedicated to advising employers on the many workplace law aspects of the coronavirus pandemic, including vaccination issues.
