I started my employed life at the news agency Oslobodjenje. My day to day work schedule involved fixing printers, pc's and the migrations of older systems e.g. Microsoft NT 3.5 system to Microsoft NT 4.0 and implementing Microsoft Exchange 5.5. The last big project I worked on was helping Oslobodjenje switch to the Active Directory system. Next I moved to work for the Saudi Arabian Embassy at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Sarajevo, as a part of my work, I built a completely new infrastructure based on the Microsoft Windows Server 2000 technology and Active Directory. I also implemented a business email system based on Microsoft Exchange technology. Along with my IT work I also worked as an educator and lecturer for Microsoft Windows server and Client Technology within the King Fahd Education and Cultural Center in Sarajevo. Next I moved to Energoinvest, where I work in the IT department as a System and Network Administration and as IT Security. From there I move to my current position as the head network engineer in the IT sector of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Here I’ve worked on maintaining all of the IT systems of the Government, as well planning, implementing and upkeeping new systems. These projects included migration of Exchange Server and Active Directory to newer versions, implementation of DAG, Implementation of the System Center Comfiguration Manager and designing, implementing and upkeeping a business email services for all federal institutions with over 6000 users and email accounts. Currently I am working on the design and implementation of additional protection for public DNS servers as well as protection of existing email systems and all users with DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM), Domain-Based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance (DMARC), DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC) But I am always looking for new exciting projects to be a part of and to expand my knowledge and skills.
