When I was 4 YO my father putted me in an “Optimist” (small sailing boat ) in a lake in northern Italy, from that moment on I understood I love getting out of my comfort zone and learn new things. ⛵ 30 years and many nautical miles later sailing is my biggest passion still and has taught me a lot throughout the years. My approach is people centric, in a sailing boat as the Skipper I’m responsible for the crew. This means putting people first (listen to their needs) and give them the trust, knowledge and instrument to perform at their best for themselves, their Crew and their Boat. 🤲 In work as in life I behave with the same values, we are all human and I try to understand and empathize with the person/people in front of me, tailoring my communication to that specific person. I have a “listen to understand” approach, listening is key in every communication. 💡
