Public Information, Outreach, & Engagement
•	Create, produce, coordinate, and maintain Town of Jackson community education content, public information, press releases, and public service announcements.  
•	Help update and maintain current brand standards, supporting quality control and consistency. 
•	Update and regularly refresh Town website content and social media platforms. 
•	Coordinate weekly radio spots with Town staff and other community leaders. 
•	Assist with development of education and engagement campaigns and content including fact sheets, press releases, public services announcements, brochures, flyers, and social media posts.
•	Build and maintain positive relationships with local, state, regional, and national media, keeping open lines of communication with local media and assisting departments with publishing efforts.
•	Help maintain and keep up-to-date records on annual Communications Calendar.
•	Support and contribute content to monthly newsletter about positive goings-on at the Town. 
•	Assist with translation and interpretation of documents into Spanish, when needed. 
•	Draft talking points and presentations for elected officials, when needed.

Special Events & Parklet Program
•	Process special event applications, permit review and approval. 
•	Present about and facilitate meetings on special events for Town staff and community groups.   
•	Analyze Special Event applications and then meet with applicants to clarify details. 
•	Write staff report about and ensure each Special Event appears on appropriate Council agenda. 
•	Work closely with Chamber of Commerce and other organizations to facilitate Special Events in Town and serve as Town liaison on committees for specific events, as needed.  
•	Coordinate Town assistance, management, and monitoring of Special Events.
•	Create Parklet program application process and program, determining timing and payment.
•	Work to establish a ‘Green Event’ rating system in tandem with Ecosystem Administrator.
