During the day, I partner with companies of all sizes to help solve staffing problems - typically through augmenting and scaling IT and Engineering organizations. Most often this means working directly with technical leadership and hiring managers to find the right person for their specific need or through SOW solutions. Sometimes this means partnering with internal HR and TA leadership to come alongside their team to meet aggressive hiring plans. Either situation requires trust, communication and an understanding of the larger business objective. Over the last 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of creating great relationships and supporting some very smart people who are solving big problems. After hours (and between meetings), I have conversations with people about their goals, dreams, passions, jobs, visions for the future, and how to ensure their personal economy is not dictated by the overall economy. Many in this camp are what I call “professionally frustrated”… they thought their dream job would translate into their dream lifestyle, but their “passion” just turned into sacrifice. Together, we create strategies to solve those problems. I’m on a mission to change my family legacy and to help others live lives of passion, purpose and excellence through better health, increased wealth, personal leadership and lasting legacy. (Health. I usually write about personal development and leadership (gained through both military and corporate experience), recent books I’ve read, health and longevity, family life and pursuing true passions. On a personal note… Married 29 yrs with 2 grown / growing kids. CA born, TX raised, 5 yr Hawaiian “Haole”, currently living in the Atlanta suburbs. I’ve successfully passed down a healthy love for In-n-Out and street tacos (specifically al pastor) to my children. I’ll take the beach or the mountains - preferably close to a golf course. Doing my best to be known as a man of God and servant of Jesus.
