	Accurately process weekly payments 75-100 Invoices, cheque requisitions, Expense claims, PAD and Wire transfers requests.
	Perform weekly EFT and Manual cheque run, rush cheques, stop payments.
	Preparing Journal entries, Vendor and Pcard transactions upload.  
	Provide support to prepare accruals, deferrals and subsequent testing.
	Assisting in financial reporting requirements, GST returns and reconciliations.

	Coordinating with AR department for refunds, payment tracking, billing queries and generation of Invoices.
	Aliasing with reporting team for month-end and suspense account reconciliation. 
	Training Temp/ New AP staff for day-to-day operations and Banner functionality.
	Assist Supervisor in drafting SOP’s, internal and external Audit queries, operations and projects as required.
	Responsible for records and retention of AP department.
Highlights: 
	Currently working on P2P project; representing AP department and its functions.
	Major contribution and key player in Banner9 project for testing and implementing AP at operational level.
	Trained existing, temp and newly joined AP staff on Banner9
	Nominated and recognized for support and assistance provided in the internal control risk effectiveness audit and consistent contributions made in AP.
	Provided support to Student and Corporate AR as and when requested by Supervisor / Management. 
  Support student AR to clear and process Refunds through various payment options like Moneris/ Touch net, wire transfers, cheque payment, CIBC international portal.

Accounts Receivable - Contract Job

Overall Business Accounting Management involves the following responsibilities; 
Handling day-to-day activities in finance
Issuing purchase orders, booking invoices and issuing payments to suppliers.
Accounts Receivable, following up with Debtors and handling routine banking operations.
Ensuring collection of all debts and customers payments for post events. 
Handling petty cash, bank reconciliations and Liason with internal and external auditors. 
Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems
Participating in finalizing Profit & Loss statement
Liason with CEO for invoice and payment approvals including signing of cheques. 
Weekly review with CEO regarding company cash flow. 
Handling payroll and Administrative functions.
Liason with TECOM for administrative duties.

Handling organizers office during GAMES13 event held in DWTC.
Ensuring to control event expenses within the allocated budget.

Finance and Admininstration Officer

Anticipating developments, and identifying accounts that will require special attention. 
Scheduling periodic visits to major revenue generating clients.  
Handling disputed accounts and negotiating to bring payment into line with terms. 
Undertaking complex reconciliations, and compiling documentation for legal action.

Working within guidelines and reporting to the Credit Manager or Financial Controller 
Issuing credit notes, write offs and allocating payments received.

Credit controller - Major Accounts

Attaining set targets agreed with the Credit Control Manager.
Monitoring payment terms, credit facility and resolving customer queries.
Reconciling debtor’s accounts and coordinating with registration department. 
Reporting debtor status to the management at regular intervals.
Training of new recruits and assisting pre-chasing team when short staff.
Allocating payments received thru bank transfers, cheques and cash. 
Clearing onsite lists and resolving queries related to payments and delegates attendance.

Credit Controller – Training and Conferences

Achieving WSO and AGED DEBT targets and resolving customer queries.
Identifying defaulters and timely update management on debt status.
Ensuring on time collections of cheques by coordinating with OPS/PUD.
Allocating payments received through bank transfers, cheques, cash and credit card.
Administrating overdue accounts and resolving internal and external customer queries.
Monitoring compliance of payment terms to ensure corporate policies are strictly adhered to.

Credit Controller

Managing busy Front Desk, handling walk-in clients and cash team.
