I didn’t plan to start a business.
I just wanted a lehenga.

A few years ago, I was hunting for one in Canada for my sister’s wedding.
What I found were either overpriced outfits or outdated designs.

That frustration turned into curiosity 
and curiosity turned into Twirl in Style.

I wanted to bridge the gap between Indian designers and the South Asian community here in North America.
To make it easier to buy what truly represents us.

From cold-emailing designers in India to building the website from scratch:
this journey has been a mix of chaos, courage, and community. Being part of the MBET cohort at the University of Waterloo was where this dream really started taking shape. It gave me the mindset and courage to build something from scratch.

3 years of deep research, countless late nights, and a lot of “what ifs” later - 
I can officially say I launched Twirl in Style 2 months ago. 💜
