From law firms in Australia to legal clinics in Arizona, I drive positive change through sound strategy, careful planning, and large-scale execution in the legal sphere. I have a proven track record of prioritizing professionalism and clear, collegial communication, and I am highly experienced at navigating situations that demand sensitivity and confidentiality. In my recent work as a Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory Senior Analyst at Sunnyfield, a disabilities services non-profit, I had the opportunity to ensure fair treatment for intellectually disabled clients by adhering to strict legislative regulations and labor policies. At the University of Arizona, I also was privileged to serve in two legal clinics, one offering civil rights restoration for formerly imprisoned people and the other practicing child & family law. A desire to work for systemic fairness and equity has driven my legal career. I find it incredibly rewarding to be able to make a tangible difference in the lives of clients and colleagues. The legal and compliance fields provide a unique opportunity to lead by example as I discover and apply innovative solutions. As both a consultant and mentor, I’ve partnered with others to navigate complex challenges. I enjoy the continuous learning and problem-solving abilities that are required in this field, especially when leveraging my knowledge to empower cross-functional teams. To that end, I’ve had the privilege of developing training programs for dozens of staff and leading teams to create top-tier compliance reports for submission to government officials. The ever-evolving nature of regulations, alongside strict requirements to implement corresponding policies & procedures, keeps me passionate about creating and championing effective strategies in collaboration with a range of diverse stakeholders.
