As a Regional Development Officer at Telesom, I am responsible for overseeing the expansion and improvement of the company's telecommunications services in different regions of Somaliland. I work with local authorities, communities, and partners to identify and address the needs and challenges of the market, and to ensure the quality and reliability of the network. I have a strong background in production and manufacturing, having worked as a Production Supervisor at Somaliland Beverage Industries for eight years. There, I managed the daily operations of the Coca-Cola plant, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of the production process. I also prepared and analyzed production reports, monitored and trained employees, and coordinated with other departments and stakeholders. I have developed skills in leadership, management, team building, and sales, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word and other software tools. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Gollis University, where I learned the fundamentals of wireless communication, network design, signal processing, and data analysis. I am also interested in knowledge graphs, which are a way of representing and querying complex and interconnected data. I have completed a certification in Fire Marshal, First Aid, and EOSH, and have achieved a high score in the Test of English as a Foreign Language.
