Your tagline isn't a clever slogan. 

It's a promise.

I see this all the time: a startup with an amazing product but a tagline that means nothing.

"Leveraging the future."

"Simplifying complexity."

"Redefining the standard."

These say a lot... without saying anything at all.

They're designed to sound profound but end up just being generic noise.

The Fix:

A great tagline should be a "What & Who."

It must tell your potential client:

1. What you do: The specific service or product you offer.
2. Who you do it for: Your target audience.

The Copywriting Formula:

From: "Creating a better way to work."

To: "Content marketing for B2B SaaS founders."
 
The second one is boring, but it's clear.

And clarity drives sales.

Your move: What's your current tagline?

Before Compose :

- Walk tense
- Work anxious

After Compose : 

- Wake up relaxed
- Walk comfortable
- Work dedicated

Here's a secret no one tells you : 

Your 'Contact Us' button is losing you money.

Think about it.

A button that says "Contact Us" or "Learn More" is passive. 

It puts the burden of action entirely on the customer, with no clear benefit to them.

It's an empty request.

The Fix:

Every call-to-action (CTA) must be a direct invitation with a clear payoff. 
It's a micro-sales pitch.

Use this simple framework to make your CTA irresistible:

1. The Action: Use a strong, benefit-oriented verb. 

(e.g., "Start," "Get," "Claim," "Discover.")

2. The Value: Tell them what they will get. 

(e.g., "a free audit," "your first month free," "your personalized roadmap.")

The Copywriting Formula:

From: "Learn More"

To: "Get a Free Content Audit"

Your potential client should never have to guess what they're getting when they click your button.

What's one CTA you can make more valuable?

I hate to break it to you but you're probably doing this mistake.

You're a founder. 

You talk about what's happening inside your company. 
Your clients care about what's happening outside their company.
I see it in so many 'behind the scenes' posts.

"Big team meeting today! So much innovation!"
"Our Q3 numbers are looking great!"

This content is great for your team, but it's not attracting clients. 
They have their own problems and priorities.

The Fix:

Flip your perspective.
Take your internal wins and reframe them as external benefits for your audience.

The Reframe Formula:

Internal Focus: "We just launched our new automated reporting feature after 6 months of development."

External Focus: "We just launched a feature that will save our clients 5 hours of manual work every single week."

The difference is subtle but powerful.
One is about your company. 
The other is about your client's win.

Your move: 

What's one internal win or team update you can reframe for your client's benefit?

Do your customers ignore you?

Scroll right past through your posts?
Great traffic to the website, good clicks, maybe even cart additions.
But no sales.

You aren't calling them to buy strong enough.

Your call-to-action is a one-word sales pitch. 
But is it selling?

Most founders default to a few tired verbs for their buttons: 

"Learn More" 
"Discover"
"Read"

They sound harmless, but they're passive. 
They put the work on the customer.
They don't communicate a clear, immediate benefit.

The Fix: Use a benefit-oriented verb.

A great CTA verb is a tiny promise. 
It tells the user what they will get or do after they click.

Passive: "Learn More" -> Puts the burden of learning on the client.
Active: "Start Your Trial" -> Puts the client in control of their journey.

Passive: "Read Our Guide" -> Asks for their time.
Active: "Get The Free Guide" -> Gives them something of value.

The shift from a passive verb to an active, benefit-oriented verb can be the difference between a high-converting landing page and a dead one.

Your ideal client needs to see themselves in your client's story.

The Fix: 

Use the "Before & After" framework.

When asking for a testimonial, give your client this prompt:

1. The Before: 

Describe the problem you were facing before we started working together. What was the pain?

2. The After: 

Describe the result you got from our work. What changed? What was the outcome?

This formula turns a passive review into an active sales tool:

- Before: "Our website was getting traffic, but no one was converting. It was a money pit."

 • After: "After working with [Your Name], we completely overhauled our sales copy. Now, we're converting 3x more visitors into paying customers."
