As a Marine Corps veteran with a diverse background in data analytics consulting, financial analysis, recruiting, and supply chain management, I have developed a unique skill set that allows me to approach complex problems with a strategic mindset. In October 2020, I began my journey into analytics and have since gained experience in various tools, including SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Domo, R, Python, and Sigma, through personal and professional projects.

I went 6-1 for the day with 5 submissions 🥈and coached my teammate to a few victories.

This weeks on site client engagement is officially complete! 

Training has been given, products made with #powerquery have been delivered and I have some new #powerbi #dashboards to deliver in the coming weeks. 

Biggest takeaway is my growing confidence working in #data 

Confidence comes from previous results and this week the #impostersyndrome has gotten even smaller.

Been awhile since I shared my #bjj dashboard but here is the latest version with this weekends results. A lot of my #analysis is done via note taking in Notion as I take very diligent notes after every training session and competition. There is no better feedback that you need to work on something when someone is trying to take your head off. 😅 

My #dashboard is pretty simple just capturing win/loss percentages along with submissions. Still, got a long way to go to make this more visually appealing but it does the job for now.

I followed the instructions from Fernan Espejo on how to use Native Overlapping Bars, video in comments. 

Overall, this was pretty simple to implement, thanks to Fernan's video. This chart is showing the variance between current month sales and previous month. 

Definitely, going to be learning more about using the IBCS – International Business Communication Standards #visuals in #powerbi
